In 1999 I broke 70 for the first time, shooting 69 on this course. ✌️

Which course is harder? Player or Dye?
@TerminatorGolf3 жыл бұрын
I would say the Dye Course is certainly the tougher course. Trickier lies, nastier bounces, and overall just not as forgiving as the Player Course.

@@TerminatorGolf thanks for your reply. I'll try the players. When are you posting the back 9 and do you know if the players course grass will be green by March 13? I noticed it was brown outside of fairways and greens.
@TerminatorGolf3 жыл бұрын
@@cowby1fan Back 9 will be ready next Tuesday! The yellow rough is the dormant Bermuda grass, which is perfectly lush, just yellowed out. The lush green is overseeded Rye grass, which typically dies out as the Spring progresses, but in March it should be still pretty similar to what you see here!

When did you play this round? Im going on a trip to Palm Desert first week of march and I've watched several of your vlogs to help me decide which courses to play! This vlog and the La Quinta Mountain Course one helped finalize my decision to book rounds at both! Thank you and I love the flyovers! Cant find anything else as informative as far as how the course looks like other than your videos. Thanks again!

Pete Dye or Gary Players course? Which one did you like better and which did you think was tougher? Thanks!
@TerminatorGolf2 жыл бұрын
I think the Player is more fun overall, while the Dye is more challenging. If choosing one, go with Gary Player's course.

You have the best course vlogs by far! I’m playing a bunch of courses in Palm desert in a few weeks, most of which you cover on your channel. Keep up the good work! Maybe we will battle it out on the course some time 🤙🏼

that overseeding really makes the fairway pop, and the course look very small to aim at!

Pretty big corridors between the homes, but it’s definitely pretty narrow to avoid any trouble at all. Very subtle, excellent design

Nice playing! We have played a few tournaments here and really like the course. I remember that hole 8 is really challenging around the green with how narrow it is and all of the slopes.
@TerminatorGolf3 жыл бұрын
The subtle slopes around all the greens make this course more challenging than it first appears!

Steadied the ship after the bogie bogie start. Not bad! (for an old man)
