Saying “I only like their old stuff” is dumb. While I would admit to feeling a little underwhelmed by the last 2 albums I know Damon is capable of writing some of the most powerful and emotional songs, e.g, Demon Days, Empire Ants, Hong Kong. The Now Now and Humanz still has some good bops but idk I just feel like it’s just missing power.

My favorite tracks were Tranz, Kansas, and Humility. Although, I love 2D's part in Hollywood. Not really Snoop's, but the lyrics were very Meaningful.

Boi! Did you diss my Sweepstakes. *cracks knuckles* Nothing personnel kid (this is just my opinion) This is my favourite Gorillaz album. It’s a solo album based on 2-D’s thoughts or dreams which is cool. I’ve listened to this album too many times, and I haven’t got sick of any songs. Apparently it’s supposed to be music from a dream, so that should also be considered for anyone in general. But for the first 3 albums, there’s always one or two songs that make me annoyed, whether by repetition, a dead feel to it or an annoying noise. Starshine is okay, but the emptiness and 2-D’s extreme vocal fry makes it no good. Latin Simone’s instrumentation gets a bit repetitive after a while, and it’s not helped by me only being able to focus on the music rather than the vocals (sound barrier). I know the dystopian concept of Demon Days is that, but some feel too repetitive and dead after many listens such as, in my opinion, Last Living Souls, O Green World, Dirty Harry, Every Planet We Reach Is Dead and November Has Come. Oh, and sorry FCOOTMH, I didn’t like the narrator’s voice after a while. Bless his soul. Plastic Beach. Some synth patterns were painful after a while like WTTWOTPB, Glitter Freeze and Broken. Humanz is flawed, but I will say I do like Sex Murder Party. And Souk Eye is my favourite of the album for its personal connotations to me. But that’s just my opinion, a subjective opinion.
