The NRL "buying" Super League (AGAIN) - Forty20 TV

A massive plus is if the NRL invest time, money & talent into Super league, is that Kids that can’t get a gig in the NRL can ply there trade in the Northern hemisphere. All NRL clubs have academies etc there’s no way they can hold all the talent coming through.

Geographical reach for afl is useless it’s mostly desert There are more people in nsw and qld than all the other states combined and by a lot AFL success has been expanding into nsw and QLD For the nrl to expand into wa or sa and a like won’t be as a massive boost cause of the smaller population sizes and their devotion to AFL So the nrl is looking to expand into over seas markets They should get USA in the pacific cup they are building up Promote it during superbowl start playing after it to hook USA audience to support the American team then promote Vegas games then play them after pacific cup leading into the regular season so you convert them into nrl fans And super league needs to get rid of relegation and go with the nrl structure Have two leagues premier and minor league Force clubs to amalgamate that are local to each other or be permanently relegated to minor league as a feeder club for premier league Just like the nrl did two decades ago Just make sure there is a premier team in wales Scotland and Ireland and France to broaden appeal Introduce salary cap to push the players around Then play a European cup at the start or end of season with 8 teams England Scotland wales Ireland France Italy Belgium Germany With every fourth year leading into a World Cup Where all 16 teams go at it Pacific cup teams (which there is 8 of ) vs European cup teams
