I agree with this sentiment across the media generally but I'd recommend checking out both Ryen and Bill Simmons full podcasts. They are some of Jokic's biggest defenders in the media and talk about the nuggets every week. I think they only cover the Lakers side of this because they know they're gone and they already talk so much Nuggets and will continue to.

Gotta love when people try to downplay a stellar performance. You mention 21 free throw attempts but he still had to hit those attempts. He was getting hounded all night, which led to him getting free throws. Also, it's not like he didn't shoot well from the field. The man was almost 70% from the field. I agree he complains too much but he still played his a$$ off yesterday.

With you on needing a 3rd guy. If there is a 3rd player that can relieve some pressure off the main guys its a great asset when you play better defensive teams because they either guard the 3rd guy as diligently as the first two, or they could drop 30+ on you because of your negligence. Its one thing that makes the Nuggets so diffcult in the playoffs they have 4 guys who would be a top 2 star on most teams, and KCP should be on the NBA All Defensive team this year and he's showing why in that Lakers series. Braun has really impessed me, Waston is getting key time to learn from some of the best in the business. Jokic is inevitable, he just dominates everything even if he doesn't score.
