The fact that the man was doing this to celebrate his wife’s pregnancy and doing it for fun as a celebration was a fun idea. He was very experienced at stuff that involved being adventurous. Him and his brother both did these explore they didn’t hurry and call for help right away his brother tried to free him first then called for help. When rescue came they realized how bad he was stuck and on his attempt of survival rescuers realize they’re wasn’t enough time to save him. So his last moments was them sending a radio signal down so he can talk to his wife and future kid for the last time. Moments he passed rescuers wanted to retrieve the body but after 2 rescuers got stuck while attempting they realize to call it off. Then making his cave his tombstone.

When the man was young he went to the cave with his dad several times and he dreamed about going to the difficult corse. And he did it when he was more older he knew that if he crawled he will make it out but sadly he didn’t know that it was his last day. The man crawled in to the narrow path and he made a wrong turn like the video says and he was stuck. After several hours the rescue team arrived and tried everything that’s possible and in the last they came up for an idea to rescue the man by pulling him with a rope .this actually worked and he almost had a chance to live,but when he was close to freedom the attachment of the rope broke and the man fell it was from the start.And well yah he died thats the end of the story.（the reason he died isn’t by falling ） My English isn’t good sorry （I’m Japanese ） 日本人おる？ For Japanese まあいないとは思うけど、この動画やとあんま説明しきれてないんよだから説明するは。 この男小さかったときはこの洞窟（観光地）何回かお父さんと言ったんよんでそのとき子供ながらもチャレンジャー用のコースまあむずい方行きたいって思ってたらしくて実際に大人になって行ったんよねまあもちろん経路を把握してたけど動画が言うように変なとこで曲がってしまってでまあハマっちゃったと、数時間後救助隊が来て救助を開始27時間の間ほぼ全ての方法で助けようとして最終的にロープで引っ張りってことにしたんよ何時間もかけてもう少しってところでロープを繋いでた金具が壊れて、まあまた一からってわけ結局死亡してしまった。救助隊が悪いわけではありません死因は落下しではありません Edit what 201likes?! Yeah I was gonna say. I'm sure some people hate these videos because sometimes he makes an error and he's not an expert on these things, but I think they're incredible. So to provide more context, the reason they couldn’t get him out was because 1. Due to the cave being so tight there was no room for large equipment to be brought in to aid in the situation, 2. As said in the video they attempted to get him out for hours with smaller tools and drills but it just wasn’t enough, and there’s only so much time you can spend upside down before you pass out and die. 3, they DID try tying a rope around his legs and pulling him out, however since he had been upside down for a REALLY long time, he lost all blood circulation in his legs, making any sort of contact excruciatingly painful. They realized if they yanked him out with the rope there was a high chance they’d break his legs, and the shock from that could have killed him.

This would be awful! Being upside down for 27 hours and then having a heart attack because your body can’t take it anymore. It may be a little bit more tolerable if he was an older person because his body would’ve given out earlier, but he was young, in his mid-20s so he must’ve went through absolute excruciating horror for a full day and 3 hours…and then dying afterwards. I know this man's parents. I met them after this had happened. I only found out about what happened to their son when I researched this interesting story online. His parents are doing well. I mean most of the time you are relatively safe if you're doing things correctly, and not taking big risks cuz the birth canal nutty putty part of the cave was already kind of risky unless you were under a specific stature. I used to go caving and spelunking when I was like 13-16 just don't be stupid, it is the same as any other sport out there

if you do a little research on this cave you'll learn this isn't the first time someone got stuck in that particular crevice. two kids had entered the cave before and one ended up in the same tight squeeze, rescuers being able to extract him, the fact it was left open for this to happen is wild

This AI rendering was really helpful for understanding what happened to him. A short came up last night about this type of caving, in the comments someone mentioned the Nutty Putty cave rescue. I'd never heard of it so I looked it up and went down the rabbit hole. (Cave pun intended.) I didn't understand how he came to be upside down, now I see. I hate it. I absolutely hate the idea of this sport. It is truly what nightmares are made of. The fact that people die in this nightmare is another nightmare. It's a free country, but this is definitely not in my blood. Imagine you're with someone, ahead of them, and they get stuck behind you, and you can only get out of there if they can unbudge themself... And they _can't!?!_ Hell. that was my great uncle i did not get to meet. he died in 2009 as the video said, i was born in 2011. after this incident happened a video of some of his family and closest friends was posted on youtube talking abt the man he was and giving speeches if the video is still up on youtube to this day you can go watch it and one of the lady’s talking was my mom. i live abt an hour away from where that cave used to be before they closed it and ppl could no longer explore. this video is very well animated and makes me feel like i’m seeing the amazing great uncle i never did get to meet. 💗

His name was John Edward Jones, an ambitious medical student who has a fiancée (or wife, I am not sure). I have seen another animation depicting how he got stuck there and it still haunts me. Attempts were made to rescue to him by pulling him out via a "rope and pulley" system but when he was almost lifted up, the pulley burst and hit the rescue officer who was aiding the operation. The shrapnel hit his jaw, breaking it and rendering him unconscious and bleeding. He was rescued but sadly, we lost John. Rest in peace ❤😢
