It's a song for which I've long loved the bassline, and you've made me appreciate it even more. Thanks, Stuart.

Fender Precision Bass guitars are the greatest and probably some of the most used Bass guitars on the planet. This is the epitome of a Funky song

@@robertjohnson3855 Yes we say. So Funky make you slap your mother. Not really ever. It’s a saying. Like food so good we stay. You put your foot in it. Lol. Funny colloquial expression “. Omg you put your foot in those ribs. Lol Yass Honty. Anthony stepped right on that. Excellent instruction. Dancing to my fav song brought me here.

Thanks Stuart. I play guitar and just got my first bass. Great lesson and method of teaching this, 16th notes alternate with a pick. Interesting to see you explain ghost notes / muting, different than my palm bridge muting for sure. Thanks again.

@StuartClayton4 жыл бұрын
No, the PDF is accurate, I just double-checked. Make sure you're listening to the single version that is 3:43 in length. There are other edits that are longer, but the transcription is for the shortest version, as there is so much repetition in the piece.
