I have the Bolt with the black band and white face. It is fully lumed, and that includes all the markings on the bezel as well as the face. I absolutely love this watch. Very comfortable and tough. I've already knocked it a few times and not one scratch.

Nice looking watch! Unfortunately the price is a bit steep for me and the size might have to much overhang for me though 42mm is my limit for watches but not all 42's fit the same. But it seems well finished and the details are very nice! Looks great on your wrist! Overall a very nice piece!

What are your thoughts on the reliability of the SW200 movements? There's only one YT reviewer I'm aware of ("Falling Titan" at the Escapement & Watch channel) who's mentioned the reverser gear teeth having a tendency to be very fragile and being prone to breaking off if the movement is wound too frequently. These movements (the 200 and 200-1) are often referred to a "workhorses", but it seems like there's a dirty little secret that's not being highlighted enough.

I don’t think it’s such a secret. I think it’s pretty well known and can happen to the ETA 2824 as well, and all (ETA 2824, Sw200-1 and STP 1-11) have the helicopter issue where winding the crown can activate the rotor to spin, if it gets gunky. What are my thoughts? Don’t wind them. I am someone who doesn’t wind automatics. I’ll wind a manual watch obviously but never an automatic and the simple reason I don’t is I’ve never found a need. I pick it up, set the time and give it a few shakes either in my hand or on my wrist and off I go, and I’m never late anywhere. 😊👍

@@watchreport Sound advice--I only recently acquired a watch equipped with the SW200, the Glycine Combat Sub 39, and no issues thus far. I wind it only enough to get the movement going, and no more. I tend to wonder if people are leaving watches with these movements in winders for inordinately long stretches of time, which could be a causal factor for some of the common issues I've seen mentioned with them.

I boxes of divers, and assorted watches. All kinds of movements. The only ones that have broken are the sw200. A couple of turns to hand wind. Broken! Not much confidence in them any more.

@@Koishishibaman What about the SW200-1? Chris Ward uses those exclusively, and they seem to have a good reputation for affordable and well-constructed dive watches. Then again, I've only wound a depleted auto enough to get it going again, and not fully. Now my Omega Speedmaster is fun to spin up a little every day to keep it going!

@@jayeyesacks1604 i have boxes of watches. . From vintage seikos, to newer 4r, 6r, 6l , 8l35, 8l55, spring drives, bunch of myota 9000 . omega 8500, 8800. Many other swiss calipers. The only 3 that have broken were sw200. One was a swc bunker, a straum opphav. Both replaced under warrenty. Both failed after about two winds of the crown. The 3rd is a venezianco . The crown was grinding after unscrewing it the 1st time. May send it in later.

The dial lume is odd. They literally lume the entire dial on their other watches. Why not at least use a bit more on this one?

You mean the bezel? Because all the indices and hands are lumed on this one.

I agree, not sure why the bezel wasn’t fully lumed as I talked about in the video. It had to be on purpose I’m just not sure of the reasoning.

@@watchreport Do you really 'need' the fully lumed bezel if you're a real 'diver'? Probably not, but as you said, you're using a dive computer if you're diving. I like the fully lumed bezels, and the orange lumed minute, along with a lumed bezel, would have been fantastic. It's a really good looking watch and wearable at 600M but it could have been better.
