Quite a few years ago, I used a coat hanger to hold up one of my exhaust pipes, just "to get it home", and it worked so well that I never actually "fixed" it. Nothing is as permanent as a temporary fix. Love the car!

Easy thing to mitigate further leg burning on the sliders is to do similar to the heat shield on semi stacks - Could make a nice pattern to match the build cut into them, and stand them off ⅛-¼" from the sliders. Powder coat or paint red to bring back some of the 10ft OEM look. Grindhard plumbing uses hexagons all the time, but this is a parts bin chrysler. Use a pentagon pattern.

In Germany the show was called "Viper" as well (one of the few occasions (others being Knight Rider, Airwolf, Street Hawk and Highwayman, for example) they didn't try to invent a German name for it). The offroad Defender was my favorite conversion as well. I wonder what happened to the modified car they used for filming. From what I read somewhere on the net it was a modified truck chassis (probably the easier way to build an offroad Viper, albeit it only having a V8 going that route).

When I was at auto tech school, we had a prototype Dodge V10 there from the early Viper days. It was when they were still doing testing on stuff, hence the prototype in "punch dots" on the heads. Pretty sure they were aluminum Viper heads on the old truck V10 block. Or they were aluminum versions of the truck heads. Don't remember which. I'd have to find my pics and see what they were. It was back in 2010 so the engine was quite old at that point. Still in great condition, though, as they only used it to take apart and put back together. It was my project for "engine - mechanical" part of the course. It had to spin perfectly when you put it back together so you had to measure clearances, bearing shells, Pistons, rings, etc... It was quite fun.

It’s incredible and inspiring that this was achieved by one person on his own in his garage. While it’s cool the Cybertruck actually got produced as is, it had the world’s richest man with deepest pockets, an entire company behind it, and many years to make happen.

Those power bleeders are great. The hose degrades over time though. I ended up replacing mine with reinforced EPDM after the original hose exploded and showered me and two cars in brake fluid.

I love this. I generally don't like the look of the Viper, but this looks incredibly cool.

From the S600 to this😊 I thought it is a wasteful project, but I like it a lot. Congrats!

I worked in the sand casting part of a foundry and we in fact used off the shelf black RTV for sealing the hot stuff but it did burn off somewhat regularly but it was in direct contact with the hot plate

Really made my day. This should be shown to every 5 year old aspiring auto designer as an example of yes they can! Those wacky cool shapes can one day be seen driving along the highways and byways of this fair and balanced land🏁!

I’ve owned two Viper GTSs. Removing the CATs caused zero running issues or codes and removed 80% of the exhaust heat on the door sills.

I love it! I am so glad I got to watch you do this from start to finish. When I was about 13 I fell in love, with the only Chrysler product I will ever not hate, and instantaneously thought, "this would be cool as f@ck to lift." Vicariously a dream came true! Lol Thanks for all the work and time you put into your channel. Somehow I lost subscription for a while but I'm back. Love everything you do and how you do it.

I was incredulous when the project started. I didn't have the vision. I was wrong. That is a smokin' hot car. 👍👍👍
