I just recently started crocheting again. I absolutely love your channel. I pay attention to coincidences and know when I start seeing them I’m on the right path. I to see crochet as part of my path. Blessings to you.

Remember that when you do any type of needle art you are paying homage to many, many generations of women who spun the thread /yarn, weaved the cloth and made the garments and household items that allowed our ancestors to survive and flourish. For me, I find that doing anything related to needle art makes me feel connected, not only to my direct ancestors that are no longer with me, also to our collective human ancestors who we do not revere enough in our highly mechanized world.

On things I knit or crochet or while I am spinning for a spiritual purpose I will often write a short poem that states my intention and reflect on those words while I am creating. Your cardigan looks amazing!!!

Creating something with focused intention - and in silence - is always an act that I can respect. I am reminded of the construction of things like robes and vellum for grimoires that had their own deliberate intentionality with this piece.

As a long time crocheter,(45+ yrs), I complement you on your work ❣️ Even after many years I still have a hard time with flaws in my work. I'm always working on a project when I'm catching up on KZbin, tonight I finished a hat for myself (I forgot to pack one) to wear here in Alaska. One thing I do when working on a project is work with intent, if it's for a specific person I try to infuse my love and protection into the stitches (including a stray hair or two of mine). Keep it up, it's a useful, mindful and stress busting craft. Bright Blessings to you 🌠

I love this so much. Many years ago I crocheted a large blanket which was a magickal exercise. Now it has some big holes and tears in it, I'm planning to wash it and unravel the wool so I can re-crochet it. But it seems to tell me something has changed since I first made it and I need to put some new energies into it.

This is brilliant! One of my first (and only, at the time) pieces of ritual gear was a wonderful shell-stitch crochet shawl, similarly done in silence in the circle I had painters-taped to my floor under a rug in my basement-room. I spent a lot of time alone and in silence as a child; I made it as a way to bring myself into a place of comfort and stillness with my death practice, and with the facts of my life. I think I was thirteen? It's comprised of sacred numbers and repetitions of a simple pattern-idea, and it was the hardest thing I'd done at the time... I still smile get teared up when I think of how much time has passed, how much of me it has seen and has passed through it. These projects, they carry a part of you, your own sacredness as well as the world's, woven together into the time and history of the piece. And there's a magic to crochet itself, as an art form-- about taking a single, long thread, looping it just so, adding time and skill and care, and then declaring that it has become something else because its nature in your life has changed -- I'll always be thankful for my grandmother for bringing that part of my craft to me on those silent Summer mornings, even if she had no idea she was doing so.

I love how your design came out, but lets talk about the other craftsmanship present. This video was amazing. I dont say stuff like that often either. I'm typing this on my sixth replay. The balance between your voice, the music, the video, and the sound is nothing short of spectacular, especially the outro. I could even put this on my playlist of things to trance out or fall asleep to. Simply mesmerizing. The quality of your shots, b roll, and editing has risen to the best YT has to offer IMO. I look forward to seeing how you push beyond these bounds.

It's so reassuring watching someone crochet and make mistakes yet still have the end result turn out amazing! I make a lot of mistakes despite crocheting for a while now but I don't mind.
