I think at one point in our lives we all had that moment, like Pam. It's a small victory that's really quite arbitrary, but for a brief period we feel a rush and clarity like we can be so much more than what we are, and depending on the circumstances, say how we really feel. It's almost like being intoxicated, it gives you a moment of courage without losing the clarity of mind. Unfortunately we don't always seize that moment like Pam does. I like how she was only planning to tell people that she did it, because she couldn't believe she just did what she did and was proud of herself. But she found more courage to say more, after she basically told Michael off for being so presumptuous and even sexist earlier.

This was a terrific way to show realistic character development. Pam is not an outstanding character, she's not extremely smart or bold or daring but being who she is, she became better over time and I think, more brave. As Michael shrewdly pointed out earlier, he wished she would become more courageous and she did. For the first two seasons, she stayed the same and didn't challenge herself when she had the opportunity (like when Jan offered her a chance for an art course) but she really did spend much of season 3 on her own and that was important because it helped her get some clarity.

i actually like that micheal was proud of pam that moment, rather then making fun of her or being weird and awkward about it probably one of his best moments

I honestly feel this confession came at the right moment because Jim too at times acted that she didn't exist this whole season like I know he deserves to move on and had the right to maintain his distance to get his mind off her but Pam's friendship never really changed for him even when he got serious for Karen.

Angela's look to Jim at the end of the video is awesome. I think it was sort of improvised.

Pam inspires me. She's not perfect, or incredibely gifted as an artist and yet she doesn't give a shit about what anyone says. She's so real ❤
