What I'm pointing out is that it was the espionage that tipped off Halyke that Dwight isn't the nicest of people, not the staging an ambush and then to assault a coworker @Halyke, I'm guessing you haven't been hit with a proper and nicely compressed snowball. Those things hurt, even just the normal ones will hurt if you get smashed on your face. Moreover he was hitting him repeatedly with force from above. A good boss wouldn't look down on an employee for something like that. Both Jim and Dwight are unorthodox employees behaviourally but both do great at their job. Either Charles disciplines both for their attitude around the office, or he should let both of it slide as long as the work is done. Charles was a terrible boss for criticizing only one and failing to see that Jim was a great employee despite his attitude (again lets not forget Dwight's attitude is horrible too and that's what makes it unfair)

Jim and Pam deciding to let Dwight in on a prank against an office visitor hinting to Dwight that he should cover the toilet seat with plastic wrap when the visitor goes to the bathroom. Dwight gets sooo excited but misinterprets the message only to jump the visitor and instead wraps his head with plastic wrap, almost suffocating him, at the same time yelling "I know what to do, I know what to do!" I'm not even an English/American person, but I can tell only from series and movies how strong the meaning of wearing a tuxedo, as opposed to a regular working suit, is.
