Exactly. She was being unreasonable. He knows they have caused damages, and they were trying to compensate by giving "free" products for 6 months. Of course emotions are a human thing but they are also really bad when thinking about business. 25 risms were ridiculous, but she should just have asked for a way higher number (I was thinking 150/200) so for a year she would have been fine with paper and has to spent less
@TheDazzler4204 жыл бұрын
@@ryanwilliams9466 how inept can one man be, if your business owner and you did some bullshit like this the only person who will be held responsible will be the company chief, as customer courts regulations, and once the RCA ( route cause begins) then the manager of the respective dept will be held responsible. And this is not some sham or scam, take for example Volkswagen, it was a decision of some quality department and Ultimately the chief executives had to be fired or resign, or from Ola or Uber the operations manager had to quit for the mistake of not even their employee, but a driver. Think about how world works it is the sole responsibility of the wing commander for the activities under them.

I work in customer service and I see this kind of attitude every day. I've grown quite used to it but every now and then it stings. Seeing this ungrateful biotch turn on Michael made my blood boil. It's not his bloody fault so why the hell should he lose his job? Michael apologised to her multiple times AND gave her compensation, but she still wants him to lose his job. The level of entitlement is insane.
@sahrudaym92214 жыл бұрын
It is his bloody fault . He is a incompetent manager who keeps incompetent employees like creed around and acts like a child when confronted. It may not be true in your case . But , Michael is a irresponsible boss and he would have been probably fired long before this .
@claucemicro10804 жыл бұрын
He sold her damaged goods, that’s why she wants him to resign. Having said that, he should’ve just listened, not making matters even worse by yelling at her. No matter what she wanted, she couldn’t get him fired but if the top executives saw how he handled the situation, he would’ve been out the next day.
@sebastiang7394 Жыл бұрын
It’s also very unhelpful. If you’re friendly to the person at customer service they are far more likely to help you. It can be helpful sometimes to state dissatisfaction but you do so in a calm and sincere voice and you don’t make it personal. That way they are far more likely to give you compensation. If you yell at the poor employer on the phone at most they’re going to give you the minimal help they need to provide.

That's not just an American thing, I'm afraid. I live in France and we have people like that too over here. One time, I had a guy come in to complain that his wife didn't get a large enough discount on her item, even though the discount we gave her was exactly as advertised. When I explained that to him, he immediately demanded to speak to my supervisor and said I was to blame for the 'error' and that he would make sure I would be made responsible for it.

The amount of people like this in the world is hilarious. I've dealt with thousands of people (customer service jobs on the phone where you're getting 150 calls a day so the bad manners stack up over the years) where, although you offer an apology to the best of your ability from the position you're in, even as a formality, they refuse it and force the ball in your court to continue in the face of their blunt rudeness. When she keeps saying she doesn't accept and calls for Michael to resign even though he had absolutely nothing to do with it and no way of knowing or preventing it, that is the attitude of so many people even though it's clearly unhelpful and unnecessary.
