My analysis of episode 3 is that Michael feels alone and depressed when he’s actually at his house but feels at home and happy back at the office. He spent the episode signing off on a home but The Office is is real home metaphorically and he realizes that in the end when he’s welcomed back and celebrated.

Episode 4 is not the greatest of season 2 but the "Ryan started the fire" song is a classic haha! And we get to glimpse a little bit of an emotional Dwight so that's always entertaining.

The people in some comments who think Jim is bad and Dwight totally innocent are insane. Dwight nearly blows someone’s head off does shoot someone’s dog and tries to charge for the bathroom as well as many other things. Jim fights him to save his job, Jim comforts him repeatedly, Jim takes him to the hospital and pays attention to him not being well. They’re like brothers. And seriously gonna only diss on him who you flip out and overreact about because you’re projecting some victim mentality onto while having less of an issue with Angela or Ryan or Kelly even or stably or Phylis. From cheating to lying about work performance over a missed party to humiliating a loyal fiancée to being super obnoxious they’re all dramatically worse than jim. And Dwight brings it on himself and if you don’t prank him he gets worse as Jim mentioned. It’s like he gets even more power hungry. And they seem to see Dwight as an underdog which he isn’t. Successful salesman and owns his own business. And it’s not like all he does is just dedication to work Dwight also wastes a ton of time and energy.
