The Official 2021 Transpac Race Video

Cliff Webb and his team at 1080Media did a fabulous job with this descriptive story of this year’s 51st race to Hawaii. The storytelling is all the more remarkable considering neither he nor his team were allowed to travel from their base in the UK to California or Hawaii during the time of the race due to Covid restrictions… so a scramble of the media teams on site at the starts and finishes, along with footage provided by the racing teams, helped to piece together this great tale of a great race.

Good ole friend is racing for his first time, although he has been racing with the same crew for over 20 years. Can't wait to see some stories about this upcoming race. I hope Transpac will find someone to Video the race over the 5 to 20 days, and share images of the boats.

what happened with the multihull division? what happened with the single handed transpac? Great video that could have even been better with more complete documentation of other classes...other than the rich old farts
