I have a Retroid Pocket 2 on the way but already have my micro sd card. Is it possible to simply set all of this up on my micro SD as opposed to plugging in the system to my pc?

You could get your apks and your rom folders all set up and ready to go but to install the up you will need the device

Do I update this to 8.1 v1 first, then update to v2? Or do I flash 8.1 v2 to a clean sd card? I'm confused, sorry.

This method a easy flash installation so it will wipe any version you are currently on and install the 8.1v2

Really struggling to update mine so could someone please help me?. I’ve followed the instructions, downloaded the drivers, restarted the computer, amongst other things in which the flash program won’t update my system once I plug in back in. All I’m getting is a grey box when trying to upgrade from the flash program to the system in which I’m at a loss as to what to do.

Best thing is to head to the discord group retro hand held, they helped me a lot there aswell. I haven't came across a grey box problem.

I can't find the root file, they upgraded this to 8.1v3

Hitting the download using the tool after choosing the right files does nothing. It just turns gray with 0 B/s. Do I connect the Retroid Pocket 2 to the computer via the USB C with the Retroid on or off? I tried the download with nothing connected and still nothing is happening. Please help.

Ah yes make sure the rp2 is turned off before you plug it and it has over 50% battery other wise it will not work

That is cards os theme, I tried many and found this one does work really well. I'm working on a new video atm where I have also created a custom version, should be out in the the next day or two, where a link to download it will be provided

What's the difference between Android 6.0 and Android 8.1 v2? Do I lose any features from Android 6.0? What do I gain with Android 8.1 v2? Just trying to see if it's worth it that's all guys.

It all round that bit better in response a bit quicker with booting up and some compatibility with andriod games needing v 8.1. I found my pc was a lot better in reconiseising the rp2 when plugging it aswell

Cheers appriciate the support. I've been testing android games recently and been having some really good luck with it. Graphically it should alright to run the android version of the ps2, titles just coughing up the price from them
