Doubtful. And thank goodness. Think about it: what the hell was he doing all this time when they were apart? What kind of "heaven" is that? I'd be tortured waiting for my SO to die so we could be together again, knowing she was alone and grieving over me (at least for awhile...well, really always in some way as you never get over that), especially since I'd be hoping she would find another one to love if she lived so much longer than I did (and then what happens when everyone is dead? who chooses who? someone is left out and that's heartbreaking, or you get into some weird group love thing which just won't work well. but there can be no such suffering in "heaven" so...). People never think of the minimal implications of what exactly a afterlife that they are so sure they want and is great for everyone actually entails. Here's another: a kid dies at age 8. Does the kid stay a kid forever? If so, then a whole world of experience/growth is forever denied him/her. If not, then how does a person mature with normal experiences in a perfect existence (no trials, no struggles, no learning experiences that are necessary for us to grow...just instant gratification of anything anyone wants...or else it is not a worthwhile afterlife) in which the personality can not form in any normal way we can conceive of? And if the kid does grow, what happens when its parents or siblings die? Are they denied being reunited with their child/sister/brother as they remember them? Are they reunited with a grown stranger? How does that satisfy their desire to help, and see, their child grow and develop over decades (and for the siblings to share growing up together)? They are all robbed of this experience; a deficit that can not be filled. Not all of this can be reconciled, there are fundamental tensions which show that for any possible scenario there must be great loss and suffering for all involved, which means that an afterlife/deity is far from perfect and indeed torture in many ways, or, much more likely, simply doesn't exist. And thank goodness it doesn't.

The lady lived to 99--a lot more than most people live for. Old age got her and that's all. She made us laugh and she'll always be remembered. RIP, Betty. Thanks for the memories.

Two days before she was full of life and in such a good health - she said so. "old age got her" - nonsense. Everybody knows what got her.

@@marita7424 How many times did your mother drop you on your head as a baby and until what age did she continue doing so? Are you serious? Betty White was 99. Her body was old and tired and it gave out. Don't tell me you're going to blame the vaccine for this. Seriously, just don't.

Betty will be sadly missed. She was a light in dark days, and a force of nature. She was truly a beautiful person, and is now with her beloved husband. My darling daughter was 18 when she passed, and one of her favourite shows was The Golden Girls..hopefully they're having a blast up there. xxx

Thank you so much for posting this 🖖🏻 Betty White was truly and unquestionably the real first Lady of television. She was the first woman to produce a national TV show, the first woman to star in a sitcom, the first woman to receive an Emmy nomination - and the first woman to ever appear on television, given her performance on an experimental broadcast in 1939. No one could ever touch her accomplishments. A pioneer of the medium. And a pioneer for women. An animal rights activists. She paid for a private plane to relocate otters and penguins from Audubon Aquarium of the Americas in New Orleans in the aftermath of 2005′s Hurricane Katrina. Unselfish, caring, empathetic, strong willed who championed causes near and dear to her heart. Her kind is not likely to ever be seen again, especially in this evil, vacuous, self entitled, selfish, egomaniacal world of today where it's all about "ME" while taking and posting hundreds of selfies of yourself and where you're at. I love you Betty ❤️

My roommate &friend was a D.J.(still is) in 1992 or so...& she took about a year off from working the radio- to go work in L.A.,at a voice-over studio.(Right next to Mann's Chinese Theatre). She would come home on the weekends & tell us about her adventures in Hollywood & about the many celebrities she had worked with in the studio. Sadly,at some point, her mom got diagnosed with cancer. So,a few celebrities she had gotten to know over time-pulled together& created a voice message of support & encouragement for her mom. Our friend shared the message with us(2 roomies)- it was so awesome sweet&kind what they all did. Betty White was one of those celebrities,so was James Woods. And I regret that I can't recall the 3rd actor right now(I gotta talk to my old friend to find out). Their kindness was something I will never forget. And my friend from long ago- is still a D.J.-40 years after she started out.
