The "always try the notes" philosophy has saved me so much time, elevated my esteem with my clients, and lead to a better outcome so frequently... it's an approach I came to through the trials and errors that come with years of experience and I'm so happy with you guys for simply saying it out loud. Had someone articulated this concept to me in my early years as an editor, well, I can only hope I would have taken the advice to heart.

Love the podcast, thanks for sharing your insight into the realm of communication and color! For an industry that is entirely about telling stories and communicating ideas, we do frequently suffer from poor communication skills.

Thanks so much Joe! You know better then most that this is a skillset that… well lets just say I didn’t necessarily start out with :) Took a good bit of experience, mistakes, and time to develop, and it’s something that can always continuously improve with some intentional effort.
