Oh no, that's not what happened. Ojama Country is what happened. You see, Ojama Country is a passive Shield & Sword so long as the person controlling it controls an Ojama, turning the beefy DEF of the Ojama Fusions into big ATK. But if both players have an active Country, and an Ojama, their stats switch *back to normal* because that's how that interaction works.
