Even a lead-acid battery died, it should show some voltage. I think you did not contact the multimeter leads firmly onto battery poles, or you waste our times... What is the percentage of the hydrogen peroxide? What is final capacity of the battery?

It makes sense. There are videos of batteries being recycled by removing the scale on the led plates and re-acidifying. Wear eye protection, etc. when dealing with strong acids.
