Baal Taran became the green dragon in gothic 2, his vapor dried out the skin of the novices who still followed him so they looked like lizards. Xardas was dousing us with mescaline since our entry into the barrier(administered at first with bulco"s punch). this sounds crazy but if you think through to gothic 3 this makes perfect sense. Why can out character speak with orcs? he isn't. they're a faction of people Xardas has gaslighted your character into believing are monsters. Xardas created the sleepers temple in gothic one and he manifested the disruption that set the barrier to grow beyond intended. he did this to groom a suitable champion which the player plays as. IN MY OPINION God I want them to Remake this game for modern systems

Fun fact, Baal oznacza "Lord/Władca" w języku hebrajskim - to imię demona i fałszywego bożka opisanego w Starym Testamencie. Jeżeli dobrze pamiętam to właśnie jego czcili Izraelici po tym jak Bóg wywiódł ich z Egiptu i przekazywał Mojżeszowi 10 przykazań na tablicach

Ah wspomnienia. Pamiętam jak gówniakiem będąc patrzyłem jak mój brat gra w gothica i mówi mi żebym niczego nie ruszał bo mu coś jeszcze zepsuje. Wyszedł z pokoju i akurat był wtedy w starym obozie, więc odpauzowałem gre i sobie chodziłem po okolicy. Siedziałem na ławkach, słuchałem jak ludzie gadają o pierdołach i czekałem aż na arenie pojawią się wreszcie jakieś walki. Spałem w tej zrujnowanej, starej wieży niedaleko tej zniszczonej chaty w której żyją chrabąszcze. Większość czasu jednak po prostu chodziłem wokół obozu i chłonąłem atmosferę. Piękna gra, już takich nie robią.
