It can be difficult to get a decent audio recording at certain venues. When I played at noisier bars or coffee houses, I'd connect a recorder to an output on the back of my amp, and then sync the audio to the video after (mute or decrease volume of camera video). My vocal and guitar would be dominant and the crowd noise minimal. Still loved the song and performance!
