I can tell you that I was a member of this wonderful choir for 7 years and Chip, while undergoing treatment for cancer, was determined to sing to the very end. Being a part of this church and awesome choir has been the highlight of my life. They may be a big church but their heart and values and teachings are exactly what God intended. Chip is singing to my dear mother now and one day I will get to see him again along with other choir members!

I came home to Jax after 30 years, & met Chip's sweet mother as a chauffeur. What a blessing! I'm not sure if I would've "discovered" him here otherwise. Within only days of singing "Heaven," he got to see It, like he said he wanted to in the song. Imagine the choir there, including him, loved ones mentioned & my own father singing God's praises! This is beaUtiful!

@TheSheriRN Sheri you responded to that comment is a kinder way than I would have. Please pray for me that God would give me more love for cruel hearted people. BTW. Would I be out of turn if I were to ask what caused Chip's death?

eflint1 I met Chip's mother as a chauffeur & she said he died of cancer. I'd never heard of him until I met Mary, but after hearing him sing, I felt I knew him as a brother-in-Christ. I look forward to praising God with him & many loved ones in Heaven.
