Great job holding down the fort Alex while Jim is off having fun gallivanting around the Mediterranean. You should have called the podcast, "Where's Jim? Deep thoughts with Alex. You've got that Venus Flytrap voice down. Ask Jim who who was. LOL It would have been a very short apartment tour being that you are locked in a Motel 6 room being renditioned. And you are not allowed to break up the band. Where would Laurel be without Hardy? Where would Abbot be without Costello? Where would Bob be without Bing? Here's hoping Jim has an amazing trip and I am sure he will come back with some new devilish ideas for dungeons. Oh, and I loved the gelatinous cube. Very nice. And yes, the audio was very low.

I like the podcasts with both of you. I don't dislike the solo one, but I think the ones with both of you are more interesting, and I would watch/listen to one of just Jim as well before passing judgment.

22:00 I'm still here. It's interesting to listen to y'all, whether it's just you Alex or your dad Jim or both. The Gelatinous Cube is cool.

I am listening to your podcast. You keep me company while I'm drawing and painting on the weekend. Glad you are here and thrilled Jim is getting to see some really cool stuff.

Wish I had known, I'd have invited Jim to my place here in Switzerland for an adult beverage and an introduction to the Templar, around here.....

I guess I'm a naturally found it guy. I was walking through the toy section of Fort Lewis' PX one afternoon while my mom was clothes shopping and saw the cool looking box art and picked it up. I read the back, thought this sounds cool and was affordable so I bought it. It was the Tom Moldvay box set. Me and my buddy played the heck out of the Caves of Chaos.

I love y'alls podcasts! I don't know who complains about all the rambling. I love that part of your videos! And I'm still here. Edit: I left the message too early, I guess... I'M STILL HERE!

I think people talking about D&D on podcasts like yours got me interested in rpgs. I've not played D&D, but I think the paleo themed adventure I played in with an actual paleontology crew used the Kids with Bikes or Kids without Bikes system.

WebDM was my favorite RPG KZbin channel for a long time. Jim and Pruett had great chemistry, and the discussions were interesting, but it lost its charm when Pru left. Kind of the same with the Old Warlock. You two are great together. Alex has a nice radio voice, so maybe a shorter format would be better for a solo act? Here's hoping that Jim has a great trip!

I’m of Maltese descent and Malta is a great place to visit for any historical student. You have the two Great Sieges - 1565 and WW2 is seen as the second great siege. If Jim visits the Cathedral of St. John (which he should) he we walk on the grave/tomb of one my ancestors. The whole floor of the cathedral is made up of graves of knights. I recommend to anyone interested to read the The Great Sieges of Malta by Ernle Bradford which is a great account of the war between the Knights and the Ottomans. Just as they were stopped at Venice by land, the Ottomans were stopped by sea at Malta. Both battles saved Christendom and the West from becoming Muslim.

Solomani! Wish I'd known you had an ancestor in St Johns Cathedral! It would have been fun to search it out and send you a photo. The siege of 1565 is one of my favorite episodes from history. It's one of the reasons I went to Malta. Reading up on the WWII siege right now. Incredible what the islanders went through.

I'm a fan of the new format. The option for more interviews is cool. Still, i miss the suit of armor and all the swag of the old setting.

Oh do not fret, this is just the appearance for our podcast episodes!!! We’ll still have a standard video (with the armor, swords, etc.) coming out usually every other week!

Why don't you both do occasional solo podcasts but invite a random follower to zoom in?
