lol restaurant owners are some of the nastiest people around. restaurant work is hard and long hours and you really need to keep on top of people almost with a whip and threat of termination to get results. the second you look away quality and performance drops. sad, but true. good restaurant = good management. really not much else to it.

OMG, $8 is very cheap for a such elegant traditional cuisine over 90 Y.O recipe (almost like fast food price). Honestly I'm very amazed how tough and brave she was as a business woman. I hoped these restaurant could get michellin stars for genuine classic dishes.

My great grand mother used to come here to eat waayyy back.. and now we still try to come and eat as and when... following our family tradition.... hopefully we are eating the same food she ate when she was alive but nevertheless not being biased but it really is the best chinese restaurant in my opinion in terms of food...

What she said is true, the tradition, authenticity and taste is dying. With all the new technique's or fusion experiments the taste aspect is less given importance. People just want to try new things. the feeling of a hearty meal is not relevant among youngsters anymore.
