I watched a documentary on Netflix that was really captivating. I love the baby blue vinyl color of that Nina Simone, too! Oh sweet, you chose Ann Wilson as well. She rocks! Not many singers have her vocal range in rock. I'll have to check out that new record from her. Neo-soul with Erykah Badu - high five! I actually haven't heard of zouk, so you introduced me to something new! I love the excitement in your voice when you were talking about this subgenre! Great to see records by female artist for change. I really like NIna Simone. Sings the blues is one of my favourite studio albums. Then I also like all her live albums. They are really LIVE, and you can really feel the power of ther performance.

Musta Köksä: I know what you mean. I would have loved to see her live. I’ve watched her documentary last year on Netflix and it features many live scenes of her concerts. Pretty interesting documentary... she was so talented

Really nice to see some Nina Simone on here. I used to be a member of Vinyl Me, Please too... in fact, I've been a member twice! I liked them a lot, it's just they had a few too many albums I wasn't interested in (though I would have liked Nina Simone). Good luck in the contest!

Yeah... I know what you mean and it was not cheap, especially if you live outside of the US. I was a member for about 3 months than I canceled my subscription. Good luck to you also :-)

Hi, I have just found your channel and subbed after watching The Omaha Introvert's Vinyl Tag video. She recommended your channel. I am particularly interested in your channel because it seems you focus on Soul music. Soul is not something that I know much about and have only just recently starting listening to it. Just some weeks ago I made a video called 'Soul Finds 2nd half 2018 Save Cancel ' about my recent Soul related finds, and I explain why until now Soul has not appealed to me. I play a few samples of some of the records that I think are actually very good. It would make me very happy if you would watch and comment on it and the records I show there. I would be interested to hear your thoughts about them. Now, I plan to watch some of your earlier videos... Best regards.
