Wow what a great VCLT from Hanna, and very diverse. Then Play On is a classic and as you say Peter Green's last Fleetwood Mac LP. Peter Green's first solo LP End of the Game has just been re-released, it divided opinion amongst fans when it was originally released, with many really disliking it, but I liked it and still do. Squeeze are a great London band and come from over the river from where I live. I am a massive fan of Johnny Winter saw him a few times in the late 60's early 70's, Saints and Sinners is a good one. I notice that your record shelves are flowing on to the floor, a common problem unless you live in a warehouse. love the video's. Gary

Hi Emma!! Great VCLT from Hanna, really enjoy the records she sent you...i think you will find Deep Puple "CTTB" a little bit different from their previous work, this is their "funk" record with Tommy Bolin on guitars, but still a good one.

“I Have Waited So Long” is my favorite Foreigner song of all time. David Lindley played on several Jackson Browne albums. Get anything with Bolin!!!!!! Love The Distance! What a great VCLT!!!!

Wow, Hanna hooked you up with some quality records! I think you'll like Squeeze. Argybargy is killer. Difford and Tilbrook are right up there with other classic songwriting teams with their ability to craft songs that work their way into your brain, they are so catchy. Then Play On, a Green era FM classic! I've got that one on CD. That Who twofer is killer too. Dang! Blue Turtles is Sting's first solo album. He goes into jazzbo mode but it's still a great album. But different than what he did with the Police. Hanna is cool and a valued member of the VC. I've got a package from her on the way too so stay tuned for that. Have a great week!

You were correct,it is Stings first solo album released in the states on 1 st June 1985. The album reached number 3 in the U.K and number 2 in the US billboard 200.

David Lindley was originally in a Psych band called Kaleidoscope. He's had a very eclectic career. Saint'& Sinners was my very first Johnny Winter album. It's a pretty fine record. Argy Bargy is a really good album and had their two biggest hits on it.. East Side Story (their next album) was one of the very best records of the 80's. Come Taste the Band was the last Deep Purple album before they initially broke up. Blackmore and Gillan had left. Tommy Bolin was completely lost on heroin and had about a year to live.

Cool Who album. Magic Bus is not that common. I believe Bryan Adams first album is sort of like a teen idol album. The Deep Purple album has Coverdale on vocals and Tommy Bolin on guitar

One of these days you're going to forget to pre-score the package and then we will all get to watch you open it, lol! My mom had that Sting record when she was a kid so I have that too...but I haven't listened to it yet! "Double Vision" is fantastic...I don't think I've seen that cover variant though so that's super cool! Yeah, I can't say I've heard of David Lindley either! Oh that double LP set of the Who is cool too! That is Bryan Adam's debut record but I don't know it well...just know that one little fact. Johnny Winter is someone who I've been wanting to check out...can't say I've ever seen that album by him before! Don't know much Squeeze but what I've heard by them I enjoy! That's a Fleetwood Mac album I've been wanting...very nice...Peter Green era I believe! I love everything Deep Purple that I've heard but can't say I've heard that record by them! "The Distance" is FANTASTIC...one of my favorite Seger records! Happy spinning and enjoy the new records!

MikeGuitarPlayer07 Lol ... there are early VCLT vids out there of me struggling to open boxes. Then, someone told me I should pre-score them to avoid all of that. Best advice I’ve received on here lol. Yeah this was the first time I’ve seen this alternate cover of Double Vision. Super cool, it threw me off. You gotta check out Johnny Winter ... raw unapologetic southern blues. Amazing stuff.

the david lindley is great.he is a session musician from LA. he played a big part of Jackson browns ; running on empty " lp. i always enjoy your unboxing vids! hanna is great! she has another channel " adventures in record digging?" the deep purple lp is the only one with the late tommy bolin on giutar. he made 2 great lp,s " teaser " & private eyes. i may have gotten the last title wrong.

WOW! Hanna sent you a pile of really great Records. Haven't heard Foreigner or Bryan Adams, i believe Foreigner is among their better ones where as Bryan Adams is thought to be his weakest. Bryan himself think so too. Daid Lindley i only know through his work with Jackson Browne, but i don't think his music is similar to Browne's. What i know of Squeeze is that they have a great knack for melodies and hooks. I have one record and it's brilliant. The rest i have in one format or another, great music. Enjoy! Pasi

If you're getting into Squeeze, grab their LP Cool for Cats. Underrated af. Also contemporary band with a similar whimsy and groove, I bet you'll like Of Montreal. The middle albums though. The early are indie folk they get more psych and synth and hard to pin down later on. Specifically I'm thinking Hissing Fauna, Coquelicot Asleep, or (a fave of mine that never gets love) Skeletal Lamping. For "new wave" (even though it doesnt exist depending on who you ask), I cant recommend the Jam enough.

Sting's Blue Turtle is his debut solo album. It was very successful with good sales and two songs from it that made the single charts. Russian was about cold war politics between the super powers with the stakes being of avoiding a nuclear exchange between Russia and United States. Sting would go on two year later to release the excellent Dream of the Blue Turtles along with a series of albums. Enjoy

HI Emma another great video hate to pull you up on your diction but if you are are not familiar with the words I get it. Argy Bargy by Squeeze the Gs are more like Js hope you get what I mean. Its a really good Squeeze lp from 1980 but there next one East Side Story from 1981 is there masterpiece. cheers
