Whoa! Kat is very inspiring. She's a fine singer, indeed. She started it soft, then gradually accelerated to full-blown emotions. I was mesmerized. She gradually increased the cadence of the song then dropped it softly at the end. Her tempo is expressively flexible, isn't it? Thanks again for Katrina, Matt. this song was used in the OST of a Filipino movie called Just a Stranger. Katrina also sang another OST of a Filipino adaptation of a Korean movie called Miracle in Cell No.7 and the song is called ISANG HIMALA. i hope you can check it out because it is such a heartbreaking song that perfectly suits the tone of the movie.

Matt! I was excited to see you tackle this amazing Katrina original. I think she showed tremendous restraint, and masterful technique in this live performance. WishBus recordings are so well produced they are a pleasure to react to. You have really taken a journey with Kat and I have seen your appreciation for her continue to grow as it did for me. She was a KZbin star but with hard work she has made herself into a world-class singer. You know I’m going to keep sending you suggestions. I think you should jump off the WishBus and go back to her home studio for the next Katrina reaction and see her do the split screen with multiple Katrina’s in the song JUST STAND UP. This one was produced a year after This Is Me that you previously reacted to and you can see she’s learned from that and perfected her craft. Plus this a fabulously UPLIFTING song. I like that stuff....Btw, sometimes it is quite interesting to listen to a song in an unknown language. I practically grew up with 90% anglo-american pop, because that was what the stations played back then. Now I love listening to russian, chinese, polish songs and it is another experience.
