@JamesEnglish another podcast that does more than purely entertain and inform. James, I hope you realize that a lot of your podcasts episodes are like a form of theraphy for many who would not seek such help on their own. Men especially. I just wish you and your guest eleborated/expended a bit more on the childhood trauma and emotional regulation in later life, how the two are connected, and their consequences, impact on decision making etc. As I said it before, your episodes always leave one with food for thought. Jeez this was emotional to watch at every level, I can't find words to say how proud I imagine Chris's Mum must be now... unreal unreal amounts, well done Man... absolute respect,... & the bit about how people can get recalled for phonecalls meanwhile loads of real wrong'uns are not jailed is f'kin dire... (if only us real realists run the show) I reckon your Mum is mega proud of you too James, keep pushing forward & bringing so many full of positivity & hope to your table please. Re you mentioning food addiction (junk) it's no different to any other - the cravings are all for fake dopamine hits is all,... you have all the tools to conquer it 🙌🙌 Lastly, absolutely right that not everyones for helping/saving - noone changes unless they themselves are ready (& really want to) these podcasts will inspire more & more people though, of that I'm sure... nothing changes if nothing changes xx

James , yet another brilliant podcast .The 1st thing I thought was having a wank ..cracked me up when you asked .The lad comes across like he is 100% on the path ,intelligence shows through ,the gym works ,the diet, the importance of family and the bad he bought into his mums life. I hope he can keep straight , I remember doing hours at the British heart foundation shop ,felt a total idiot but ended up enjoying it and a few mates followed me .Good on the lad , and James please keep them coming ...

Good to see he's on the right side and respect to him helping others. I'm waiting for the spine transplant 😂 mines one of the sickest spines in the country so i can relate alot. I'm mid flow dealing with the life changes from being extremely fit to barely able to walk but i still have so much hope. He's quite lucky he can walk & run and still do alot of basics. It's probably made him a better person. Goodluck Chris life will be what you make it ❤ always look at what you have and not what you don't have ✌🏻

What do you do when you are completely alone? So broken you find it hard to trust? Physically a d mentally? I love these podcast but everytime James says family is everything triggers me so hard. Disagree that prison isn't stressful, I was on 16 mg of subatext and all the other most popular medications making me the no1 go to drug dealer of the prison, trust me there were many arguments many fights. Don't let anyone tell you there's loyalty among criminals, constant grassing the English prisons are different to Scottish it was an eye opener how the big lads and the faces were blatant snitches screw boys that's how the wings were run the big lads doing the screwswork for them trying to stop dramas that had nothing to do with them really, disgusting to watch at times.
