I have this and it's a great gaming box. It runs GameCube, Dreamcast, PSP ,and PS2 without any problems. I wish it had more WiiU, but you can add games. The excel game list on Ali didn't quite match up, but the mini PC hard drive still has 150 GB free. So far I've added 20 additional games with a USB stick. I'm very pleased.

PS3 loading times are only bad the first time you run them. They compile the PPU modules once, so the second time isn't so bad :)

For the N100 u need 12gb of DDR5 to get game cube to 1080p

so after looking around, the N100 is a new-ish chip from intel. Quad core with no hyperthreading. This thing is just a mini PC that uses batocera linux and could run any OS you throw at it.

Probably DDR4 memory. Imagine how cool N100 emulation systems are with DDR5 memory (20%-30% more performance) But hey if this is like 100 euro it's a nice budget system (not more because of the VERY limited HDD)

Hello, i have bought a k8 game stick and I have couple of doubts. 1) after pressing start and select (quick menu) I can see resume, reset and close content. Other options are missing, 2) I tried making clone of image of original SD card on sandisk card of same size) 64gb) via clonezilla in dd mode, win32imager. However none of these images boot the k8 stick. Instead I see a text saying insert controller and also also says x2 games tick. And the moment I pop in a original stock card it boots. Can u please guide me Thanks a lot!

64gb sd cards are not all 64gb meaning it can flash only try a bigger one ? 128gb or something like that. To see if the backup works... tutorials out there or try other programs.

I think it's ok but the shell I wished they made it look better for the design the logo will make dust enter the device so easily. Also does it support the rewind I think it's helpful for hard games and I wished you showed how to make quick save and load state for a game. And finally can you add more game like hacks and translated One's please I want to know.

Hi wicked. I went on aliexpress yesterday to see if there was a new official Pandora’s Box and I couldn’t find anything. No 10th anniversary boxes or anything. They had the knock off ones like the 3d and Saga but nothing from 3H or 3A games or whatever the company is called. Do you know if the company is still around or if the boxes have been banned or anything like that?

It's amazing to see how inexpensive emulation has become in the past few years. Now, you can get access to a vast library of games that run on a lower-end PC for about $200. I remember emulating a ZX-Spectrum on a 386SX-16 in 1996 with VGA.

I remember a ZX81 emulator in the early 90s on the Atari ST that was pretty playable too (as long there was no machine code graphics trickery that was used in some newer ZX81 games) I thought that was quite amazing. There was a Atari 800 emulator for the Atari ST too, but that could only handle some basic programs and was way to slow.

Sometimes the emulation community confuses me. I do not understand this need to crank up the rendering resolution to like 18x, and then have to have the display set to 8k, when fundamentally the game will look no better than something more modest like 1080p or even 720p with maybe 2 or 3x upscale. All you are doing is making the CPU struggle to achieve anything like a decent or playable frame rate for a consistent period of time. Pressuring the system for nothing in the end, imho.

At this point i'm just see how far we can push it in the end. See it as a testbench for this chipset. Upscaling option with some systems are nice like ps1, ps2 or game cube to 1080p or 4k. Fine with me to in the end 😄

That is the idea ... main problem is setup. I noticed many problem so you do need knowledge of batocera. Sometimes stuff don't boot up at all so you need to start tweaking.

A 14 year opd HDD is a bummer for sure, but everyone crying out for SSDs: you still get around three times storage for your money and it will run fine for the max this system can emulate; though no debate, it is overpriced for what it is

@WickedGamerCollector you would wonder how low they go depending on your location. Since I moved to the Philippines I know that they actually do have quality control on AE and send the "A"-grade to Europe & US, here you get the B-ware for the same price, but you will have to hand-crank the HDD

When you say GTA ... we do need more info 😅 GTA like.... PS1 ? ... PS2 ? Or you want to play GTA 5 ... for the last generation you need a serieus gaming pc with a good GPU for some decent 60fps gaming. It's another rabbithole to deep dive into. Just search for best GTA 5 GPU Solutions.

I don’t own a newer desktop or a mini PC. I didn’t buy my ASUS TUF Gaming F15 laptop to play GTA V or Cyberpunk, I got it to use a bunch of emulators on and my existing Steam library which I assure you consists of no AAA games. Why? Because too expensive and too large in file size. It’s like they want to sell SSDs because of it. That was my birthday present I saved up my money I got for Christmas, birthday, work and government PST cheques for almost a year ago btw. My main Steam gaming device is still my Steam Deck which I also saved up my money for. I wasn’t an active Steam user back then, but that’s because I didn’t have a good enough laptop to run my library on but it all changed when I got my Deck back in summer 2023. Worth having especially with all those frequent sales going on.

Currently I am building a handheld based off of a N100 SBC, couldn't find a match on the AMD side in regards to price/performance
