It's fabulous to watch two people with different languages can communicate and understand each other. It's stunning.

Feel so closed to him when Wes speak Cantonese, I am in US right now, I was born in HK and I speak Cantonese too....Watching Wong Fu Productions somehow give me a really special and gracious feeling, because you guys always have story filmed in Hong Kong and America, which I feel so familiar, and when your speaking in both of the languages and cultures have given me such a warm feeling, I feel close to you guys...keep up the good work, they give me a lot of memories and feelings :)

Just found this short again! I think it was really beautifully filmed with the conversation between David and Lily in alternating languages. Like, how they still understood each other even though they were speaking different words. Loved it. Definitely worth the rewatch.

When I was still in HK, I was so busy with school works that I didn't take my time well to appreciate the unique nature of HK. Now that I'm no longer live there, I begin to realize how HK has so much to offer, so unique you always miss it and want to come back. I totally miss HK and if I could turn back the time, I would explore all HK corners, try their dim sums, spend time with my old friends, and just be like locals.

It's amazing to see how two complete strangers can connect and sympathize each others' predicament ,while their other half simply drifts away from them further and further, everyday. More than that, once the initial contact is established, language no longer becomes a barrier, but a bridge for thoughts to flow.
