@@rodneyharrison7107I was on my kayak on my buddies pond, caught a few fish and my yak ended up stuck in a bush as I was unhooking a fish, the inside of this bush was big and spacious, so I would literally just dip my lure in the water and catch them every “cast”, more like just setting it in the water for 2 seconds and boom! A fish on. They’re fun when they’re like that

Holy cow! makes me wish I was crappie fishing where you fish, but its okay, have lots to do at home. Making progress and taking a break watching this, part of the task is sorting past fishing trip messes and retying lures, untangling the snells, packing them securely for the the next fish hunt to catch and cook. Your videos are always inspiring! Thank you!

I thought it might be boring watching them all again. No, definitely not. I'm glad I watched it again. I remembered the one when you said "WHAT the??" Lol One thing that amazes me about some of the videos: like that giant crappie, it was so full of energy, got caught, and then it just totally relaxed. It still had tons of energy when you put it in the water. But, it's almost like it was mesmerized. It definitely was not in shock, you would know it if it was in shock that's for sure. It was mesmerized, like maybe playing it off, playing it cool? I am leaning towards the theory that it was actually mesmerized.

When guys say that 5 is a trophy in Ohio I chuckle a bit because of all the 6+ pounders I've caught. Not to mention the 5-6 14 + pounders just found in the lake this year by biologists hydro shocking. All I'ma say is from Cambridge Ohio and down all along the boarder between Ohio and Virginia you can definitely catch some monsters

I grow up catching dozens of smallmouth in the 3 to 4lb range each season on the Cuyahoga one or two might break the five pound mark. Musky fishing Leesville I've caught two 7lb largemouth casting huge top waters, mind you unintentionally. Maybe the fisheries have improved that much or maybe the technology is better. Caught some giant crappie in West Branch, Ladue, and Hodgson. Never fished the Ohio but have always wanted to. Nothing like fishing rivers and creeks. Happy fishing, brother
