Many thanks for this vid Craig. What a brilliant lesson for so many of us. By keeping it really simple and focusing on the details you've ended up with a great set of images. Makes me wonder why I spend time carrying so much gear around..... I subscribed on this strength of this piece. Thanks again.

Which goes to show that it’s not the camera, it’s not micro 4/3, APSC, FF or MF, it’s the photographer. Good stuff and thank you for sharing.

Love your architectural photography Craig, its something I need to work on, your ability to pick out small angular facets of a building always look superb. This video has made me want to visit the Southbank again and look more at the small picture rather than the big vista, many thanks.

Another excellent video, Craig. I love the retro look and feel of the shots around the National Theatre. Brings back fond memories of photographing around there in the early 80’s. Actually think some of those shots at the end that you say didn’t work, did. Especially the black and whites. Regards Tony

Superb as always! I’d be proud of those shots that didn’t make the cut. You should collaborate with Craig Reilly, a fantastic street photographer and Olympus Ambassador. There are many similarities in your work. There you go, a tale of two Craigs

'...is my iPhone'. This video is already great. Another one of my favourite places to go (South Bank, now you should come down the Old Kent Road!), one location & camera (often how I have to do things), and it's your phone. Already a favourite.

Great vlog craig, and all on a mobile phone. Go's to show you don't need thousands of pounds worth of gear to take a good photo. Like the one's that didn't make at the end , like outtakes on a movie or tv show, shows it takes more then one shot to get it right.

The challenge of one camera or format is nice. Not sure I'd want to go the cell phone camera route however. Not sure i'd go the Instagram route either. It does make you think outside the box to some extent, but not sure I'd do much with the results.

Great video Craig. Coincidentally, I made a similar walk between the eye and the Tate just yesterday. Sunny, blue, cloudless sky which is not my preference. I took the same shot that you did under Blackfriars Bridge--which I liked, but other than that, came away with a lot of mediocre shots. I walked up and down that staircase in the Tate and didn't shoot it! You are a skilled photographer and artist. I will continue my attempts and look to you for inspiration. Cheers, Jeff

Craig, I absolutely love, Love, LOVE your photos. I have found so much inspiration from your images and eye. Couple questions: 1. Does the Hipstamatic app shoot in RAW? 2. Did you do any post production to the images in Lightroom or similar software? Thanks!

Hi Craig, great video as always, can you clear up a argument for me please, I use an Olympus Pen and a Olympus OMD e- m1- Mk1 and I take mostly Landscape and Seascape images, would you when taking these types of images turn off the image stabilisation when camera is on the tripod, I turn mine off in camera and or in lens. Regards, Colin.
