Okay, now you've made me do it. I immediately purchased a Samyang 8mm fisheye (Fuji version) after seeing this vlog. What wonderful images you produced! I could not resist. I have been having a great time looking for likely subjects. It is an eye-opening experience, determining what will work and what will not. But what fun finding out! Thanks for the inspiration.

Can I make a suggestion that perhaps others would share. It would be great to see two images of each shot - before and after post processing. At the moment we see a video shot and then pumph a beautiful photograph appears, but it is of course the final, after processing. I, for one would just love to see the image as it came from the camera and then the final.

Great vid, how do you deal with banding with the clear blue skies? had a go with the Samyang fisheye today on the EM1 for the first time and noticed I was getting serious banding. Really enjoy watching your video's.
@garypentecost8338 жыл бұрын
Brilliant .since I have found you on KZbin I have viewed all your posts totally inspirational I too use Oly' Omd and Pen ,I've just ordered the Samyang 12mm I think the fisheye will be next on my list .........more vids please 😀👍

Love the #fishie - Haven't used mine for a while, previously used it a lot. I have not liked IBIS with the lens, the image wobbles a lot - but then it's so wide, handshake impact is much less anyway.
@marseillex7 жыл бұрын
Great chanel, Craig. Found it today on YT - and just ordered the lense for my Fuji X. I really enjoy your fotos. Keep on shooting. And selling Samyang fisheye lenses :-) Greetings from Munich

Great shots! Where does “fisheye territory” start? Would the Olympus 9-18mm get me there at 9 and 10mm???
@e6Vlogs5 жыл бұрын
Valdis Krebs No unfortunately not. Fisheye starts where the lens isn’t corrected and that’s below 9mm on MFT. Even the Oly 7-14mm is rectilinear

11:38 to 11:47 Absolutely love those images. Do you ever have issues with security challenging you in these places?

Generally, shopping centres are privately owned and many don't allow (or like) photography. Obviously you have used these locations before and so you're aware of what you can get away with and where. Do you get much of a problem when taking groups or do you avoid them and go elsewhere?
@e6Vlogs7 жыл бұрын
martin taylor My workshops are generally One2One only, but yes, i avoid such places unless on my own.

Craig great video, cannot afford fish eye at the moment is there any other way to get this effect
@e6Vlogs8 жыл бұрын
Yes. And I explain more in one of my eGuides available with an e6 Subscription. So the price of that! But otherwise, try a camera phone adapter.
