Fordmat77 I have a v3 setup on a 306. Makes around 425hp, my t5 is on the way out. I was thinking of having pro motion build me a t5, after this I’m thinking tkx now.

We know your the man to test it to its limits! I know it’s not his cup of tea since it’s pricey but 5.0tussin would be a good tester…. dude be rippin gears as well haha

I just swapped in the T-56 magnum in my Toyota Supra and it's almost ready for break-in. Now I'm told too use Tremec HP MTF after break-in. What's your thoughts on this fluid? Thanks

same kind of oil came out of my tko 600. before that i had a "built"t5 with a certain gear set. it looked like someone added a pound of silver powder. scared the shit out of me.
@Neomustangs3 жыл бұрын
@@angry408w7 Ya i get that. You cant see it well in the light, but it swirled silver hue.. lol. The syncromesh i put in.. boy that was night and day shifting. Video coming.

@@Neomustangs Pennzoil is very good. i just changed it after 2 years and about 10,000 miles. looked absolutely perfect. I switched to amsoil. definitely a difference in shifting for the better. Calling Hanlon tommorow. thank you for the code!

Did you change the fluid?
@stangnutlx2 жыл бұрын
@@Neomustangs Yes sir. broke it in ATF switched to GM Synchromesh and now ill be going back to ATF. Spoke with American Powertrain and Gary stated i should just run Dex3 in it. Gary at @AP did state that the whiney 1st gear is normal.

@@stangnutlx it is. Synchromesh helped my tkx shift way better. I tested this thing. I know what it does
