I thought there was a way to stack steel friction steel friction that got you an extra friction and get rid of the steel to steel. Guys either reused a good friction or bought another kit.

Awesome content, always need a Cousin Paul to do stuff, (just saying) not worried about a one wheel peel, since my car(pictured) got totaled/ trashed about 2 1/2 weeks ago, starting to look for a replacement.

Why in the hell are you even setting the cam on the ground let alone dragging it around on the concrete? You should know better than that I was ready to check out this build cause I’ve never heard of a 387 Stroker but seeing how you treat the cam makes me question your knowledge. You hang out around a machine shop and I guarantee someone there said get that cam off the ground now and then inspected it and probably neither of the cams was used if they seen the B cam get drug across the concrete 🤦♂️

Build went together super well. Runs very well and made great power (400+wheel). Even with my concrete camshaft LOL!! Thanks for trolling and judging a build you have no clue about. You can move along now....

I’m building 1974 351w block. I’m wanting to go roller, so a lot of people say small base circle cam or link bar lifters. I was looking at comp cams sk35-413-8 retrofit for 69 to 94 351w. I called comp and asked if the cam was a small base circle and they said no, so asked if the 851-16 lifters that came with kit where shorter and he said they are same height as OEM. He said that the lifter bore height is taller on all 69 up blocks. Can you tell me if this is true if standard roller cams and lifters work just need to add spyder?

i have 2002 trailblazer 4.2 air cold on left hot on right digital low voltage on new battery gas gage lost power catalytic converter over heated 02 sencor is bad you think if I bought PMC would fix most problems ? Or no 🤷 i bought 02 sensor & coil package waiting on shipment vehicle never runs hot any opinions

I think you will see a big difference in how well it will run under load with a coil near plug setup. I did it last year because I would break up above 6k rpms and that is no longer an issue. Actually pretty easy to add the harness in and setup with a dual sync distributor, game changer 👍

Yeah, it's going to be a major upgrade to the coil on plug units, can't wait to see the difference, plus valve springs too.

Yes, this was planned downtime for this engine/car. I had to take a break for awhile and figure some better things out.
