I’m a skinny 64 year old man. I’m also a self-employed gardener. For years I’ve been suffering (supposed) “panic attacks” that (I assumed) were caused by a physical heart issue, given that I had Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation about a decade ago and that these issues got worse after that episode. I was always a bit “sensitive” I guess. My physical “stress responses” (to occasions that my brain tells me shouldn’t be at all stressful) can be intense and very unpleasant. They seem very “out of proportion”! They manifest in frightening tachycardia, arrhythmia and often severe tremor. I’ve had umpteen tests, been in the back of an ambulance umpteen times and likewise A&E…and they always discharge me saying my heart is OK…even though it damn well doesn’t feel OK! Is this a scenario that you encounter quite often in your work Martin?

What you are describing, is that like some vibration happening at random moments of the day? I'm 29 and i get some weird vibration on my chest. My doctor told me everything was ok though. It always feel like i'm going to get a heart attack. Usually it get more intense in the afternoon or early morning and everything come back to normal when i come back home. ( sorry for my english i'm french ).

@@tidiane.b1691 Merci.

Hi, I have found your channel to be really helpful and I've learnt so much. However I have a bit of feedback. I find the sudden unexpected sound effects throughout the videos to be highly uncomfortable and stressful as I'm noise sensitive and easily startled by noise. It's the loud banging one specifically that I'm talking about. I'd really appreciate it if you could considder not using that sound effect and/or using another one.
