I've owned a 370Z with tech package, and trust me, there are no easy places to mount a phone in that car. That's why you would want to go with the non-tech package. Completely opposite, lots of room to mount your phone.

I recommend a proclip. They manufacture a plastic piece that glues onto the passenger side of the transmission well. The other side is a standard fitting that is compatible with a lot of widely available phone holders, in addition to the ones that they sell themselves. There's no drilling into the car, but when it's in it's firm and looks like a factory accessory. I have one for both of my cars.

I put my phone between the E-brake and the cup holder, in that little lip when the E-brake is down. Works great, especially when I have my phone plugged into the usb in the center console. But your custom pocket is clever!

Look at the Tackform magnetic phone holders on Amazon. It was around $7 for one and $15 for three. I bought the three pack as I have three cars and wanted a mount in each one. You put a metal disc on the back of whatever device and then the mount uses some strong yet easy to remove adheasive on one side and then a high power rare earth magnet on an adjustable head. The head has a rubbery texture. I like these things because I can position the phone up to a more visible location for navigation and still have access to the bottom of the phone for charging. Typically I keep my phone in my pocket, but for longer drives these things are excellent. I wouldn't want to have to try and look that far down for my map when going somewhere new.

If you have the non nav, you open the center cubby and position it sideways facing you for GPS. I'm getting the Brainiac Bezel to fit a Samsung 10in tablet instead of the radio and cubby

Lol I did the same thing but I use it to put my vape 🤙🏼🤙🏼 the best one to hold your phone u buy a small magnet adapter and just bend a little bit one side and u can attach it in one of the edges of the radio 🤙🏼🤙🏼 the bended section goes inside the side edge of the radio that way it does not tap the number 6 or any button of the radio

I might actually have to do this to mine. I usually put my phone in the space between the e-brake level and the center console while I'm driving and I've never had a problem with my phone flying anywhere, but I like this solution a lot more.

Buy a ProClip mount and dash holder made in Sweden. They slip into cracks in your dash and hold without drilling holes.

You should try to put either a USB cord or wireless charger inside the bin, wiring it to the fuse box. I down't even have a Z (MR2 life) but I think that'd be really cool. Especially so you won't need a bunch of wires tangled around your interior into your phone, which can get wrapped around your shifter while driving.

I have a vent holder that works well to hold phone. Even when cornering hard. Trick is I also have 2 febreze air fresheners in same vent to keep it from rotating. Or you can DannyZ that shit and put your phone sideways on navigation screen !

As far as I could see the 370 z is well put together.The one negative aspect is that the co- driver seat is not adjustable at all.Even the driver seat has limited adjustment capabilities. A long trip w ill prove the short fall.

I’m surprised the Nismo doesn’t have heated seats. Mine is a standard Z and it has heated seats. There is a blank button in the middle which I think on some is a hatch opener. That would be fun. Mine is white like yours.

It's because the Recaro seats. They are built buy recaro and are in several other cars, they wanted to keep it simple. Also they are all manual control vs power

But now I went and dun did something stupid and bought a TT kit and also tracking the car...there will be a thermostatic bypass for the radiator and oil cooler fans going in soon... Right now, RAM Mounts makes a minimal phone mount, but ill be going the rasberry pi route for android auto... damn it nissan, why didnt you make android auto for this car :(

quick question: Storage for the car, as if I'm looking for a spring-fall pleasure car and the 370z nismo is always catching my eye (stored during winters in Ohio for reference in temperature), my garage is a separated building (not temperature controlled, nor "weather" sealed, e.g. it gets *cold* in there during winters). Any tips, or should I just look for a heated/controlled storage solution?

VapersRecruit high flow cats and resonated short tails should do the trick. Add a midpipe and you'll have the same setup

Don't forget the car needs to be tuned as well. A non nismo is tuned at 330 hp as a nismo is tuned at a 350 hp...should help a little with the sound.

Adjust your mirrors to where at your normal driving position, you cannot see your car in the side mirrors. Thats the proper way to have them adjusted, and you will have 0 blind spots.

I’m down south, but it gets cold during the winter months, don’t get much snow though, but this was my daily. It’s probably manageable in the northern states and maybe with snow tires, but I don’t have experience with that.

In my younger days I had one of the first Pontiac Trans Ams where the front spoiler was like a snowplow, and when I drove through a new snowfall in Chicago back then I saw the spoiler just fly over the top of the car.
