TFW they realize that they must've misplayed their lane pretty badly to fuck that up like that. It's super hard to punish an ahead bot lane for pushing as a jungler for several reasons. You probably need a gap closer so my Udyr mains know this will cost a flash. Then you bet your ass you hope that you can one shot one of these fools or else you spend your time in Exhaust, Nami bubble, Janna knockup and slow, Leona stun prison hell, all the while the enemy ADC who has level advantage and a small gold lead pummels away at you from save af distance. By the time your Bot Lane reached out to follow your gank (considering this is "normal elo" where the most players are at by this point), you are so low HP that you have to disengage, what your bot lane won't understand so they go into the 2 v 2. Jeah enemy bot just used heal, so they are back in a 2 v 2 that they lost previously countless times in trades, but they are all inning, likely getting F'ed by minions from the back, dying. Then comes the classic finisher! "Jung dif." And this is why the best way to win games as a Jungler in low elo is to queue up as a good bot lane. DONE!

duo with a toplaner that plays Renekton and you can do that every game. Rene can push early in most matchups and give you the followup for the topside invade. Camp the shit out of him, push the tower slowly to get more XP and money from kills, snowball, make a play bot and then run around as a duo. your team will stick to you if you have decent makro. This is freelo and has worked for ages now. I had several junglers who didnt get that concept though. I had one that did and we hit plat in 4 weeks from silver.

This is such an excellent channel by the way. I am a D1 jungler and I still learn stuff from these videos. For example here, in the videos patch, I wouldve started blue into gromp into double scuttle with transition gank on mid which could potentially give me prio into looking to invade karthus blue, even without red buff. This would give me top lane control and potentially snowball all 3 lanes (jg included) if we win the fight which we should given the match ups. This video is actually more relevant on the current patch since scuttle control is far less cheeseable early game and dictated solely by match ups and early lane prio. Interesting stuff.

When it comes to the tunnels not being able to go from that angle, I think it's perfectly fine. Laners need to ward differently knowing these angles are a thing. Such as it is when it comes to going up against a Zac and Kayn that can do the essentially the same angle. Shaco and Evelyn, with the wards being on the camp rather than the angle for those two.

I think it's stupid to think that Rek shouldn't be able to tunnel over that specific angle of the wall at either too or bot lane. Many other champs, such as pyke, talon, and Kayn for examples, can also utilize that exact same wall jump in order to get behind the enemy in the same way. It's a mechanic of the champion, just like how Camille can jump from 1 side of a lane to the other with her stun mechanic for some very powerful ganks. It's just part of the kit, and when you face off against champions like that, you should adjust your playstyle accordingly

As I've said before, many other champions, not just junglers, can utilize this exact same mechanic. Do you suppose that they should all be nerfed to the ground as well? If your suggestion to balancing champs is to take away their mechanics, the game will be so boring and linear. The whole point of having these unique mechanics is that they make the game diverse and approachable from new angles of attack. Every jungler and laner has different ways to approach a lane when ganking. If everyone ganked in the same way, it'd all be predictable and boring. The problem isn't so much the mechanic, but that Rek is very much still very unbalanced. This problem doesn't exist with other laners who abuse this exact same mechanic. Overall, maybe you just don't have much game knowledge. Therefore, don't comment on things you don't understand.

Seeing that this Rek'Sai side lane gank is really strong, it's not broken. It's easy to play around if you can look at the map and place wards in your own tri brush. Kayle didn't ward when Karthus' blue was countered, or even react. Kayle and Karthus' judgement were both weak and in result, ruining top side and jungle in tempo.

well a sivir nami matchup would want to push right? if lucian nautilus is under turret that would reduce their bully potential so if karthus started blue they would probably push the sivir under turret to deny her mission by pushing them first it would also allow them to get the level 2 advantage which is a good spike for lucian. oh and also u can check the enemy mana to see if they leash. if they didnt use the mana then reksai starting red into raptors into scuttles would be completely okay since karthus can't compete level 2. if this happrns, most likely the path for reksai would be red raptors to scuttles (karthus has to back off) gank mid to bot scuttles which karthus can't compete again. and farm bot side jungle matching up karthus to counter gank or recall.

As a karthus jungler who looked up guides, this karthus is trying to throw off Tarzan by picking a very weird route, one of the optimal routes for karthus is red w leash into krugs (you save smite and kite so you take no dmg from the big krugg) than go bott scuttle or raptors. This way you barely lose hp because early on karthus has very low sustain from early clears (no proper jgl item yet).

Predict invade, go to bot faster. Kayle must save flash, die, and dont TP, to lose farm, time, xp in bad matchup, but have summoners to the next gank, and ask karthus to save she from dive. Btw after fast clear enemy botside jungle khartus must gank botlane, or get sums (in chall with this matchup, enemy bot losing after this), and then help irelia to take fast item, for taking prio on mid. And after this, he can come to his toplane jungle, and cover kayle. But if he fail anything, he can't, and kayle will be fked till game end. It's why i hate junglers. Main toplane.

I'd say this is more of a tutorial on how not to pick squishy champions top and jungle without even mentioning what the mid lane is since having 2 champions that can't show in the lane anyways just isn't a great plan. The round about way to deal with it would be either to ward into the area for the lane as the mid or jungle followed by forcing priority around the rotations required to keep pace. Which ideally once you know how and when the rotations are going to occurs you can make map based trades. Map based trades can be far more impact, in this situation you would ideally want to be red side as kayle and not blue due to the bias of rift vs dragon control where as against the kayle the rift is far more useful then the first few dragons so being unable to contest or take it means the only remaining plays become the risky ones for bigger gains such as going for 2 towers through proxy and vision control which in the best case you can get a 2 for 0 and tower or at least 2 for 1 and tower. Then transitioning that broken access to their jungle into the mid and eventually top. Although low enough elo you can usually just walk over and steal buffs or kill fed enemy junglers for free so it's not that impact to make big trades unless you have to. An easy impact for a low elo trade would be to maintain some level of vision and take either raptors/gromp on respawn since they are generally easier and faster not requiring to go very deep to obtain. At a certain point the enemy jungler will just be 1-3 levels behind unless they soak lane XP which puts 2 people behind instead of just 1 which is sometimes a bigger win depending on what champions they are.

bit late to the party but the traditional answer is to lane swap AD/Supp and top. AD/supp have generally more CC so harder to dive, and more harass, and puts the weaker kale on Karthus's side of the jungle. Another less viable option is to let top get an early tower then freeze the lane at your t2, although this inadvertently makes your mid more vulnerable.

The two champions you listed aren't even the best lv 2 junglers. Skarner is pretty weak early and aggressive junglers like Xin Zhao, Camille, Lee sin, Jarvan etc. can easily beat skarner 1 on 1, even with him having the spire buffs

Hello, I am a d3 mid/jg player and wanted to try pantheon jungle... I had a Camille top vs gnar and I was against trundle. level 1 gnar accidently stole red buff when he leashed, so trundle was 1 with no buff / help from his team and he went botside. I started my red of course and went to top scuttle and killed gnar, I wanted to win the lane for Camille so she has a good lead to where gnars range advantage wont matter. I think it was 8 times (gnar said so, hes definitely around the ballpark) that I ganked top, 100% of those ganks were successful! we either got a kill, summoner, repeat gank, ruined the wave for him etc. anyways, a skirmish broke out top and the enemy trundle who was level 1 to my 2 was now level 6 and I was 4 and he also solod infernal because I was topside most of thhe entire early game. I was scared of getting outscaled so I forced the stupidest plays (looking back at it) and we lost the game. what does tarzaned do to avoid this from happening? I didn't feel confident enough to invade their jungle, they had a veigar mid who could easily collapse on me if I got caught at their raptors and krugs would take too long to take. I got my topside jungle, and trundle got his topside, drake, bot scuttle, and my botside. please help! I thought what I was doing was right but by the results it clearly wasn't, my thought was cam wouldn't have to struggle in laning with gnar, gnar would tilt / give up and will definitely tilt his team, cam will outscale gnar too and destroy him 1v1 under tower in side lane later on in the game.

From personal experience of jungling karthus's are so mana hungry a common route for them on blue side is red to wolves to blue (He needs blue as his 3rd camp or 4th at latest usually or he struggles with mana, and starting red makes you clear faster in this case because you get a leash and the burn damage) when karthus has red + blue and smite up he can contest the 2nd scuttle (or have counter ganked you mid or have taken it himself during your gank depending on the actual clear speeds at the time). Jungle really comes down to information and partially informed mind games, I assume that karthus expected Tarzan to start bot side himself, then the karthus route shown in the video is perfectly acceptable, but when the enemy bot lane showed early was when he made his slight mistake (I say slight because technically tarzan could've pinged his lane away from leashing him so he didn't show his starting side) considering his own lane revealed his starting location by showing up late. That was when he should've realized what was likely going on and started vertical jungling. If Karthus was to follow the route you proposed it would theoretically work for reksai, but that method of hard farming doesn't work for karthus the same way as other champions that hard farm because of his dependence on blue (and even on other hard farming champions a lot of times its worth going like red wolves blue gromp back down to raptors and krugs because it puts you at less risk of losing buffs to agro junglers such as reksai, and if you can sneak a scuttle as a hard farmer at some point in there it feels really nice) Edit: Added a few words for some clarity

About the tunnel angle, if Rek’Sai can’t use her tunnel to get across a single wall at an angle, then Kayn can’t use HIS shadow step to be extremely precise and allow even more options to gank across more terrain unexpectedly. As a Top/Jungler rank Wood I know that playing jungle has helped me avoid many, many top ganks. Top laners never ward enemy jungle. Do it. It can save your life. :)

pink ward in the bush next to where reksai came through. that's where I put one every game, to at least maybe see something like this coming. Yellow elsewhere, but a red there (repeatedly as they're taken) you can defend/see when it's taken, and it will give you and your jglr some vision into that upper part of the jgl until it's cleared

yes, toplaners without a functioning brain should tremble in fear. like this kayle showed us in this example. knowing exactly where rek'sai was on the map and still overextending without tribrush vision (knowledge about rek'sai's ganking path) is something that should NEVER happen in any high elo game. on top of that, flashing when you're 100% dead and enabling such camping doesn't sound too reassuring either, yet this kayle played like a literal silver

@@danielglidewell simply because people are in awe about this video, about how there was no counterplay, how top lane is a bad role that can't do anything, about how junglers decide the whole game just by playing the role, which is not true. i'm aware that over 98% of people are stuck below diamond3 and they fail to realize the truth about how it all happened and WHY it all happened, but doesn't change the fact that they should turn their own brain on and think about hows and whys. there were also many overlooked things and i blame skillcapped for not taking these into consideration and explaining everything, so the low elo hardstuck (aka delusional) part of population understand why exactly something like that was possible. a friend of mine who's gold 3 with over 900 games linked me this saying how jungle is OP and how top lane sucks, just to scroll down comments and see people writing similar things.

Nothing, she would need her jungle presence to get the cs but Karthus has no reason to contest it. You should just wait between your 2 turret and use a ward in your jungle to spot rek'sai. Otherwise you will just keep dying. On lower elo you can just run into your turret and get a double kill as people can't execute dive properly and are too afraid of tower dmg

Rek Sai should be aloud to take the path, as Kayn can go thorugh any walls and its not like the walls stop abilities wuch as Lee Sins Q.

Another example of two major issues: -wall walking champs are effectively god mode. Kayn, reksai, etc create unfair advantage -Kayle completely unable to do anything about it due to extremely weak early game defense and lack of any gap close beyond long cooldown summoner spells It’s just another example of the gimmicky champs that are effectively godmode way too early. How else could Kayle play top lane at this point? She’s already forced to play defensively and at a tower, and since a tower is easily bypassed by reksai burrowing/wall walking, Kayle player is left with only one choice, sit at base or sup mid for exp without getting gold.

I just got camped like that in a tank vs tank Matchup but I knew wie would win the game since it was only that tank getting fed and my Master Yi was powerfarming in the jungle... And obviously because that enemy RekSai didnt path AS efficient as some Korean Challenger. It was still a Silver guy, but hell it was annoying.

Is weird cause just after I watched this video I went o a ranked game an had Kayle vs Renekton (almost same) Midlane Akali vs Katarina (2 snowbally) and a safe botlane (Ez-Bard). So I pretty much just copied what he did here (I was Graves against Zac) and it worked out perfectly lol.

No, Reksai is stronger and Sylas has lane prior anyway (so karthus is forced to vertical jungling like explained in the video). The biggest mistake is that Karthus decided to path from his Red to his Blue. If he path from Blue to Red instead, non of this would have happened, and he would have ended up botside, where he could set up a gank with nautilus solid CC.
