Sorry for the late upload. I had to go and do something, add to that, I haven't gotten used to the schedule yet. I'll work on that and other things but with regards to this show. FUN! I legit enjoyed nearly every single match. It's a must watch if you enjoy the Ruthless Aggression era. What did you think of Vengeance 2005?

This was an classic ppv that's known to be one of the greatest B-shows in WWE history thanks to 3 great matches. HBK vs Angle was another classic match while Cena vs Y2J vs Christian was a match that's super underrated and Batista vs HHH in HIAC was the match of the night which end with a epic story that showed Batista delivered and demolished HHH in his own game. Classic ppv

So true. It was such a crazy month because it was the first time in almost three years that main venters from RAW and Smackdown interacted with each other (with the exception of a few Wrestlemania matches and guys like Benoit who jumped back and forth). Seeing Kurt Angle in the ring with Triple H was surreal at that time, they had so much history but they hadn't interacted in forever. Same with Cena and Jericho. This was the first time they truly shook up the rosters and ended the OG brand split.

The amazing Smackdown Vs Raw match that has yet to be topped in terms of those brand supremacy matches. And Cena & Batista…. The two stars who will usher in the future… they both rose to the occasion in tremendous fashion.

WWE really missed an opportunity with a Kurt Angle/Batista program
@waynetables6414
@waynetables6414 3 жыл бұрын
They had no idea what to do with Kurt at this time because he was basically a drug addict but also ECW becoming a third brand was a disaster and it made all three shows worse. I lost interest somewhere in 2006. The two One Night Stands were awesome but the WWE should have stuck to two brands. No one wanted to see Big Show and Kurt Angle pretend to be ECW guys. There was just so much forced gang warfare in situations where it wasn't the least bit believable that guys would be fighting to the death over a brand they just joined months prior. They moved Big Show and Carlito to RAW and Batista and Orton went to Smackdown and a few months later they are doing a Smackdown vs RAW angle in a parking lot brawl fighting to the death for a show they just joined and mixing babyfaces and heels together in the process. It was so fucking stupid. It would have made more sense to do that angle in late 04' because rosters hadn't been significantly changed since 2002 aside from RAW swapping Booker RVD and Dudleys for Edge Benoit and Shelton Benjamin from Smackdown. The 04' draft was just a few mid card guys being shuffled around. it would have been believable to do a smackdown vs raw angle in 04' because those guys at that time truly rarely ever interacted.

People hate on triple h and dont give him enough slack. A big reason why batista became a huge star, was because of triple h. He helped build batista because he was a star and knew how to make others look like heroes and yet get all the heat as a heel. He knew what the business is all about. Creating Characters and storylines which create stars, rather than just being a wrestler and wrestling. And if theres no stars, nobody will care. Nobody will make money. The biggest problem today is they live for the now. Theres no continuation and long term success. Everything is spots and quick pops that serve no purpose that have little to no storyline. And you wonder why theres no more stars.

I completely forgot Jericho cut his awesome hair before he came back in 2007. one of two of the biggest tragedies in wrestling was Jericho and his Gordon Ramsey haircut in 2007 and the other being Vince McMahon's little Steve Martin haircut he had for so long after he got shaved bald. they both had awesome hair why would they ruin it.
