Beautiful car and oh that sound. We could just ever so slightly see the craftsmanship of the interior which is second to none. If only I had room in my garage. Who am I kidding I'd make room if I had the money. Nice job JB. There getting better and better every week.

The 6.3 badge is there because Mercedes-Benz claims that it is 6.3 liters (even though it isn't). From the company's press release: 'The maximum output of the AMG 6.3-litre V8 front mid-engine is 435 kW (591 hp) at 6800 rpm, while the maximum torque is 650 Nm at 4750 rpm. The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, and can reach a speed of 200 km/h in 11.2 seconds.'

actually the engine is a 6.2 litre, but they call it a 6.3 because of the legacy they've had

People complaining about the design, it's a throw back to the 1952 300SL. Get over it. And with the engine being a different displacement than it shows on the side, Ford did it way back too with the Mustang 5.0 being a 4.9 litre engine and now one cried about that. So once again, get over it.

umm the engine is actually a 6.2L. The reason Mercedes put the 6.3L badge is because they wanted to commemorate their first V8 engine which was 6.3L. Still an amazing car overall

I love the way the SLS looks and sounds. As a German car goes it has soul. It sounds like an American car, it drifts like an American car. It's almost like a 2013/14 Viper or Corvette. And that is part of the problem. I can get that same sound and fun factor out of ether of those cars without the astronomical insurance, purchace price, and fuel costs of the AMG. They look just as good, they sound just as good, and they are just as fast in all the applications I would use them for. So why go SLS?

The engine is a 6208cc V8. I know, it annoyingly says, "6.3" on the side, paying homage to the original 40-year-old 6.3-litre engine they modified. But that's no reason to say it's a 6.3 litre V8. It's a 6.2.

I like these "filler" episodes. That's honestly when they feel like. But that's okay, because I enjoy learning about different vehicles. So what if it's really a 6.2L? It's not like any of you bench racers will afford it anytime soon anyways.
