Loved your use of the same locations; really well done! You captured all the charm of the film !!! with one small exception. When they return to 2379 with the two stuffed whales, that probe will go on to destroy the earth and everyone on it. Ooopsie! Seriously this was really enjoyable! Thank you!

Dude, I fookin' LOVED this! Laughed so much, loved all the STIV nods, and you got Beau Williams from HF to cameo! One has to wonder who the stuffed whales are for, and if the receiver will be happy, considering you were supposed to bring back live ones, lol. One little nitpick, which I recognize you may have done on purpose... Hunter's VO says they went back to 2016, but the Khan newspaper (loved that too, btw) has the year 2006 on it. Great job. Loved it.

The first thing I noticed was an error. The Federation and Starfleet is not allowed to develop or use cloaking devices. That is clear from the Treaty of Algeron of 2311. This is a clear violation of the terms of the contract. Because of the threat from the Gamma Quadrant (Dominion), the Treaty of Algeron is modified to the effect that only the USS Defiant (prototype of the Defiant class) may use a cloaking device by Starfleet. Since the Federation is still not allowed to develop a cloaking device, the Romulan Star Empire provides a cloaking device and at the same time an engineer from the Romulan Imperial Fleet to maintain the cloaking device. During the Dominion War, the cloaking device installed on the USS Defiant was used several times.
