This series gave me most of what I wanted. Reunite Rick with Michonne and the kids and conclude their story arc. Not to start another storyline with new characters. Only wish Daryl and Morgan were there but maybe in the spinoffs.

I don't wish Daryl was there but I'd like to see him told that he was right and that Rick is still alive & is home and safe. I did want to see Rick acknowledge Morgan's presence in the last scene (even in the distance). So it began with the two of them meeting and ended with the two of them coming together one last time. Now we know *what 'scared' Gabe* but thankfully it wasn't what he thought and Carol really did try to tell Daryl that Rick was alive BEFORE he was kidnapped and put out on the Atlantic. So Carol didn't ABANDON the kids too... she left them with their parents and we didn't need to actually SEE that. Dead City, to my understanding, is a little further into the future of these other shows & spinoffs... don't like it anyway! If Maggie's arc continues without the old cast the only thing I would like to see, if I continue to watch, is Negan finally dying! And it can be assumed that Rick & Ezekiel got to see each other again too. I'm glad for an actual ENDING to the 'Richonne' story arc. If Daryl doesn't make it back to America and Carol doesn't find him or can't follow him, I'm okay with that. *I don't need to see ANY of the other Main characters, they can JUMP to the **_Next Generation_** from this point as far as I'm concerned...*

I honestly think the pacing of epi 6 was similar to 1 and 2, and had they extended it into additional episodes it would've felt like filler episodes and taken us away from the focus of this being a Rick and Michonne love story. I do think this ending opens up more questions which can expand TWD universe. Are Rick and Michonne now leaders of the New World? Will we now expand into stories from the rest of the group? Who are these crm spies in other communities?

She doesn't have any platform to watch the ones who live on so she's been watching KZbin videos of people reacting to it instead. I've never seen her cry so hard, ever. Amazing closure to Rick & Michonne's story which is what this show was about (some people tend to forget). It was definitely a little rushed, but I think it was good finale. Glad they didn't just magically end the WHOLE of the CRM, it was just the cascadia base.. Excited to see more CRM in the upcoming spinoffs.

I love that the end plan had them actually doing something believable to take them out rather than a gunfight cuz while it would look cool, it’s just a step too far so I’m glad they played it smarter And it’s been cool to learn more about the CRM and I am glad it’s not completely gone but after all the years of build up and exploring, it’s been good to finally see them But I’m glad the story was still solely focused on Rick and Michonne and not been too flashy and action packed for the sake of it, the walking dead stuff is always at its best when it’s focused on the characters

I think leaving the prosthetic behind is a sign of Rick detaching himself from the CRM since they gave him the arm to fulfill their purpose, renouncing their control over him and that he is no longer in doubt of what he now stands for which is the livelihood of his people and those in need so he fulfill his promise to Carl from TWD s8 which is ultimately win against the dead

It's kinda crazy but understandable to me that ppl would be mad at how Beale and the CRM were dealt with. You knew it was almost the end of the 10yrs of military reign & time for the CR to take over. ALL the corrupt leaders were in one place and Michonne can make use of bombs. They never needed to fight a huge war they needed to get rid of Beale's private force that did his dirty work and wiped out innocent ppl. Okafor said in ep 1 that the majority of the military wasn't aware or apart of the mass killings. They were even going to wipe out another city with gas, they literally had to go and they had to do it quick since everyone was all in one place.

And together against the CRM, but yes, although certain things may have happened that they overlooked and they could have given it more time. But it felt natural. It was also known that it was because of the intention of Andrew and Danai's request. It was just a miniseries. But as such...it was the best closure together with the family.👏👏❤❤

Excellent episode and review. Came into this series hoping Rick & Michonne made it home safely to their children, and they did. I also loved that the Echelon Briefing ultimately reestablished that Walkers are the world’s greatest threat. Everything the CRM was doing, from taking resources from communities to slaughtering children, was to outlive the dead as long as they could, and that took us back to the early days of TWD. Feels like that’s how the franchise will continue on, and maybe exploring the CRM remnants. Only the top brass were eliminated, so what happens with the sleeper agents around the world & the true believers. Will we see them in the future?

Rick knew Beale was evil and couldn’t be trusted to keep his word! Rick left his combat hand behind cause he wanted nothing from that place! This series, great finale, great story, great acting, great reunion. Now I want more and more. Now I believe Carol was saying Rick is back. Dead City has a second season and Daryl Dixon is getting a 3rd season, then I hope he and Rick can reunite at last. Maybe season 3 will be him and Carol coming back home.

Ok, I really enjoyed this series, I’m not sure when the Daryl Dixon, Book of Carol starts but remember in Episode 5 of Daryl Dixon Carol said what sounded like “-ick is back” so I’m thinking potentially the new Daryl Dixon season May even start with Michonne and Rick, with the kids walking to Commonwealth, Rick catching up with Carol, and in this Episode maybe showing the other side of Carol talking to Daryl over the radio hearing the full sentence, “Rick is Back” then potentially she sneaks off to go on the mission to find Daryl, because she would prefer going solo, potentially ending the first episode the same as the way they ended the last season, with Carol on Daryl’s bike.

10/10 ending. Just to be clear because I'm not sure you understood correctly, Beale was offering ONLY Rick to bring in people he cared for and would be of benefit to the CRM. That was why he said at the start of his briefing that it was the first time he was saying something to the person he was giving the briefing to. He believed Rick was so important to the CRM's future that he was willing to give him that over anyone else he had already given the briefing to.

I loved these 6 episodes. I'm glad the Grimes' got their happy ending. I was soooo worried as well, I had so much anxiety leading up to this episode, because I was sure one or both of them were going to die. "We should not be burning these other communities." Yes, if humanity is on the short road to extinction, why on earth would the answer be to help it along by wiping out entire communities. People are a resource, and they could all be working towards solutions to deal with the millions of dead mass, resource allocation issues, etc. I think leaving the metal fist behind was symbolic of him leaving the CRM behind, but I agree, he should have ditched it after they made it out of there. Hopefully we get a reunion between Rick and Daryl when Daryl comes home.

I really enjoyed it and the entire series. I was so anxious because I had convinced myself that they would die. I'd love a second season but I'm fine if we don't get one. It would be kinda cool to see Rick in a leadership position in Philly and bringing people in and us maybe getting to see some reunions with Daryl, Carol, Maggie, Morgan, Aaron, and even Negan. I'm annoyed by much of the nitpicking of this episode tho but everyone has their own opinions. I keep seeing people ask why they are in a random field... they can't just land that thing in a town! We also don't know where Judith and RJ actually are so I'm sure when Michonne called Judith they worked out a meeting place and I'm sure some adults helped and are nearby but give this family some time together! People also don't seem to understand they filmed in NJ and not GA so Alexandria and the Commonwealth aren't available to film at/sets aren't available. Dead City did get a second season, btw

The writers came up with the best scenario on just how to take down the CRM. If there are only two people, how would you go about doing It? And I think that they came up with the best solution and Rick and Michonne executed the plan perfectly. I now see why Danai got the role of Okeye on Black Panther. This was a good episode and the only people disappointed were the ones who wanted more Beale. And the ones who had built up this big show down in their heads. Not understanding, that works only if you have more people with you. Rick and Michonne did it the way two people sent in to infiltrate an army would do it. My thoughts on what will happen if there is a S2. They let us know that Morgan is going to find Rick. I don't think they did that for nothing. They let us know that they take children from communities they plan to destroy, and embedded spies in every community and City across the entire US continent and the World. Is Beale's son embedded in one of the TWD communities? is he at the Commonwealth? Will he take back what they took from his father, and will Richonne's children be in danger?

before the bridge when he was seriously wounded and vison of awry1 dead, i thought the series will end with extinction, that it becomes war with them and CRM and CRM ending it with self destruction and taking hole world with them

Wait Beale told Rick that there are CRM spies in selected communities throughout the continent and the world so does that mean that the CRM knows about the communities in New York and in France oh yeah and now that The walking Dead, Fear The Walking Dead, The Walking Dead World Beyond, and The Walking Dead The Ones Who Live are completely finished does that mean that Dead City and Daryl Dixon are possibly going to be the total and complete end of all of The Walking Dead series or do y'all think there'll be more spin-offs

Idk if it’s wishful thinking or not but another spin off that has ALL the characters reuniting…I could see that happening. I hope it does. I need to see Rick and Daryl reunite 🤣

I would’ve loved if this spin-off had 9-12 episodes instead of 6, there some holes in the story and things moved a bit too fast… but as a story i’m very satisfied and yes I also wished that we would’ve got some reunion between Rick and other characters(the ones who were from the beginning of the show)

My heart is so happy right now fr😭🙏🏼 I'm just a bit confused with the timeline. There should be a 2 years timejump after the CRM because it doesn't make sense that they made it not quite long enough. Hear me out. Michonne's gone for 2 seasons I don't know how many years was that in the apocalypse but I know she's gone quite long time, not to mention the 1 year time jump on the last episode of twd. It took her more than a year to find Rick because she was recovering with nat, that whole year was good enough for season 10. If Michonne made it back to their kids after more than 1 year of finding Rick, then they're supposed to be back early season 11 right??😭😭😭 Anyways, I love the ending I'm just confused.

Pretty sure they came back after Daryl had already gone to France and probably little before Carol went looking for him not sure.

@Shadow is right, Everything has taken place after the commonwealth arc and Daryl leaving out to find Rick. For timeline wise, we can all agree that Rick was gone for a period of 8 years or so given RJ’s age. When Michonne left the group to find Rick during the Whisperer arc, RJ was around 5 or 6. She spent those years (the one year she sat out because the chlorine gas) and the rest searching and finding Rick.

I didnt understand how they took all that helicopters to Alexandria if they were 2 of them and they came on the same heli. Can someone explain me? Like, did they convince someone of the city to help them?

epic ending but kinda sad that thorne was killed :(,like she didnt do anything CLOSE to what negan did to rick and she dies (negan is alive) :/, she seemed like a pretty good character to have on rick's side.
