It is the melody, but nothing even remotely like a sax is in the original song. It feels less like a...I don't know how to put it, a song built of several pieces all working together and more like a sax solo song with some background. Not saying you didn't do good work, it was just so shocking when it started up it felt like a smack to face, and for a song known for being relaxing ambience...well, you get the idea.
