Dantae Villarreal We're not thanking him for the song, but rather referring to the song as the perfect sendoff for him. Prior to joining Nintendo, Iwata was an employee at HAL, and was the main influence in why the company shifted into game development in the first place. He eventually became President of HAL, and was one of the producers of Kirby's Dream Land. It doesn't really matter that Nintendo didn't directly create Kirby, but Iwata did play a big role in Kirby and Nintendo as a whole.

+TheOneUps, hey guys my friend (Instagram: taapp03, Thomas Appleton) and I are currently working on a Kirby fan game and we would like to ask you if we could use this tune for our game (i have five pages of designs done which are items, an inventory screen, names and descriptions of items, final boss art, a completed battle system, and some drawings for Kirby's animations i.e. walking up, down, and left, a kirby left idle for 20 seconds, and what happens when an enemy approches Kirby) It's okay if you guys say no but we are really hoping for a yes but either way you guys are an amazing band and your music is incredible, also this game is going to be an rpg so the games pace will go slower that is why i consulted this video specifically because other remixes are too upbeat, this one was perfect considering the pace of the game but again, even if its a no this version is amazing in every way i could think and im just glad you guys made this
