I think my job as a trader is to focus on losing trades. I believe my success as a trader is locked inside of my losing trades.Winning trades always take care of themselves. I have never laid down in bed at night and worried about a winning trade. This may sound blasphemous but I'm not sure you even need an edge in trading (of course it helps). When you buy or short a stock it only does 1 or 2 things, it either goes up or it goes down (or sideways but eventually it's going to go up or down. So if you leverage the law of large numbers and take lots of small trades to take advantage of probabilities you should start to see 50% win loss rate... But wait, trading is a zero sum game. you won't make money with a 50% win rate. As I am sure you know that not true if have a proper risk to reward strategy. I use a 3:1 risk to reward. Risk 1 to make 3. This allows me to have a 30% win rate and still be profitable. If I risk $1 to make $3 on 10 trades and lose 7 of them, I've lost $7 or 70% of the 10 trades and if I win 3 of those 10 at $3 a trade, I have made $9

Boom and Bust trader made nearly 75 percent in 3 days and then lost 25 percent today. I go all in on every single trade and trade mostly premarket and aftermarket. I like extreme volatility. No stop losses since it's the premarket and aftermarket. maybe I should just do 3 percent positions. Instead, of being bat ****** crazy.
