✨Out of the 3 ways, what is your favorite? What are your go-to products?✨

-For a wash and go ( in the summer only) I like to use a creamy leave-in consitioner on soaking wet hair that defined curls ( redken leave-in frizz dismiss that was advised to me by a Black hair stylist is perfect for that) followed by a curl defining gel ( the new coil definer gel by Aveda which is suprisingly amazing on my 4c hair. It is expensive but a tiny bit does the job) and it has a lot of slip. -If I am going for a twist out I would use the liquid leave-in / primer by Aveda first, because it softens and strengthen the hair and it also has a lot of slip and that's all I need. Then most of a time I'll use my shea butter/oil mix to style. I've never had any issue with shea butter. It has a lot of slip on wet hair and it has a de-freezing action and streching action on the hair while your style so it makes it faster and easier to style on damped hair with a great final result. Only one product I bought can do the same thing, the Design Essential curl stretching cream ( that looks and feel almost like a butter). I will do the same thing to style my hair in single braids with the purpose of stretching my hair for any different styles like a simple bun or a braid out. Because I use butter for styling, my hair does not take forever to dry and if I need my hair out ans dry the next day it's possible. - And If I blow dry my hair to style it, not to flat iron it... I ll use the Redken defrizz leave-in on damped hair as it is also a heat protectant and after blow drying I'll use my shea butter/ oil mix. Took me a while to find the perfect products doe my hair but I am glad I persevered in my quest because it makes styling my hair so much easier, faster, and enjoyable.

I love that you have products and a method for each style type!🙌🏽 And don’t get me wrong, I’m not against shea butter, I’ve just encountered one too many clients that solely use it with nothing else(no leave-in, nothing moisturizing), they almost always have really dry hair! Thank you for your response!
