4:40 did you mean the "Beta 1 are more in the beginning part of the alphabet" or B2? Because you said Beta 2 but I see beta one has those "features"

This is an amazingly informative video, but I wish you had addressed beta blockers for debilitating anxiety. It's a life changer for adult Autistics!!

Just took first dose for severe anxiety they think causing hbp also Busbar anxiety med. My bp at ER was scary high and went up from the nurse to the doctor telling me about other scans. Scary high. Fear of doctors, bp cuff etc. real bad plus having issues with severe anxiety. I am sure my bp is up not just at the doctor just worse. Gotta get over it.

Great presentation, helpful and concise information! Would love to see some more contraindications next to the indications mentioned. Especially loved the "clinical pearls". Keep 'em coming! Greetings from a fellow pharmacist from Greece!

I take Bisoprolol for my post-stent Angina. No issues aside that my exercise capability is lowered and I retain weight. Used to lose weight on Keto, now with Beta Blockers, I cant lose any weight through diet and/or exercise.

Hi great video in a nutshell I'm an athlete snd was put on Bidoporol by my consultant after AVR.. Past few month's exile training I've been finding it hard to breath.. So after a visit to the gp and a letter to my cardiologist.. I've now been told to stop taking them.. So can bisoprolol affect heart and lung function whilst training??

I've taken 3 different beta blockers, because I have HTN and get some occasional anxiety that produces some "fun" tachycardia. However, carvedilol, metoprolol, and propranolol all made my throat and mouth feel as if there were pop rocks cracking on them (I don't know how else to describe the itchiness I felt), and I repeatedly coughed. Was it a drug allergy? Or was it something to do with bronchospasm? It's unfortunate, because the beta blockers definitely nipped the tachycardia in the bud, and would be super useful for going on plane flights or going to the doctor's office. Do you happen to know any other medications that you've come across that offer the same rate control as beta blockers?

I like your presenation but beta blockers are really REALLY dangerous. If I ever knew the same what my doctor - I will never use it. It simply ruined whole my life. My last half year is to recover after this and I feel im only about 60% my way back to normal life. Before - I kept my body and mind simply awesome and after this I feel like in horror. As I said your video is best If not the best. Im just unhappy what the medicine gives me, when the alternatives was possible. So scarry that this is common answer for people's problems. Beta Blockers are the worst what came in my life.
@annaberg1200 Жыл бұрын
Which beta blocker have you used? Now I got nervous
@Kundaczek Жыл бұрын
@@annaberg1200 It was precisely Vizidor Duo. It was piece of dorzolamidum and tymololum + deksametazon + variations of other medicines to end healing. The worst part was I was sensitive for that substance and it needs about 16 weeks to go out of body. So, so wrong when others medicines like Briglau Free was correct to use. Other side of this is beta blockers really do their work at chill he pressue etc. but I think the best what doctor can do is to tell the patient to DONT USE IT MORE if the patient feels bad and fast change the medicine when possible. That my clue from my story and advice for every new specialist. My upper comment is fact for me - and many people will not tell it beacuse they will be no sensitive or just no talk about this. Im type of '' Djokovic 'guy''which dont like any chemical substances or whatever is bad for body or mind. At the end, I just live more and more normal but the thing is my life changed for something different and recover is slowly and unclear.

@@annaberg1200 I wish every doctor the best but the idea of beta blocker is shocking for me. Don't get nervous, really, this story teach me something and shows me something different about life. I would say, something what was impossible to see before. How are you Ann? Are you Sweden or Norwegian? I came from Poland. Are you medicine student or what? :)
