Agree warlock is just turrible right now. A few players can make the class look good, but then I bring it into the gobo caves and just feel like a much weaker smite cleric. Bad range. Spells do very little damage, except hellfire that is a meme score a lucky hit every 10 games sort of spell. For some reason the Spells take a long time to cast despite doing crappy damage. Melee isn't anything special except for a one hit smite that will surely be nerfed. Short of the magical healing sustain, another thing i suspect will be nerfed, this class has nothing going for it that isn't done better by cleric except being able to easily solo cave troll.

Always use Curse of Sacrifice instead of Pain for spiders; it doesnt do dmg right away so you can heal from them! Curse of pain will kill them before you can heal more than the health used per cast! ! If you're using a spellbook do Sacrifice then Pain for even more heals on those pesky spiders! Happy dungeoneering

What's the difference between staves spellbooks and crystal balls? Obviously you can melee with staves but that's the only difference I can tell

curse of pain hitbox is fine, some ppl for some reason dont know its a projectile and u gotta lead the curses but that doesnt make the hitbox bad

@@KevOfPeen It's not a projectile. It's hitscan, but it seems to use different hit detection than Zap, making it extremely picky and difficult to land.

You play warlock very well and in a montage seems strong as well. But it is the only class so far that I do not personally fear at all. With decent gear it might be a problem to face, if he control the situation (a.k.a. he doesn't get pushed or ambushed). Otherwise gets pushed by any fighter class (just need to avoid the blow or wait out the phantomize), or outranged by ranger n wizzard. And the starting gear is just terrible. Pure pve, best hope if you start with it is a rat escape. Luckily as you said, they still need to finish it and balanced it, as it seems to me the most funny class of all. Hope to see more videos of you playing it when it will be finished! 😊

I still feel like wizard is strong AF. Their insanely damaging spells cannot be easily ran away from like Warlock. They also have such a fast time to kill on melee classes that it makes it nearly impossible to close the gap between you and them unless you’re already up on them.

idt they gonna touch warlock much until we have more viable builds and more curses. we are lucky it hasnt been nerfed cause the magic heal str build is jus insane with blow of corruption rn but if our next curse is something like wizards fireball or a quick attack like zap im sure we will see some nerfs, they def gotta fix the hitboxes on pos and cop

Warlock is annoying because its so fast. They just kite with endless spells. They often team up in goblin caves aswell. They need a speed nerf or a spell limit.

This update they made it so that if you're below level 15 you only queue into other people below level 15. They also raised the requirement to trade with players to level 15 so that means when you're starting out you'll only play against other new characters and they won't have full gear sets bought off of other players. Really nice improvement to the new player/leveling experience. Especially for people who are joining a bit into a wipe who might feel super behind otherwise.

Check k patch notes, it was. Tranquility and clarity song only work while resting now, their aoe damage from songs is lower, and their debuffs are a little weaker. It's still a really good class, but not as OP.
