I think mimic darts are almost perfect. Perhaps decreasing the duration of the disguise by a bit would help, but otherwise they're perfect. Sure, it's chaos right now, but once people learn the ins and outs of it in a week or two, it'll be a really fun (albeit perhaps a little niche) addition to the game.

yes, but it changes your name color. if the other team looks at you while you have one of their crew skins on, your name will be green. or if you disguise as one of their alliance, your name will be pink

If it changed your nametag to match it absolutely would ruin the game as hackers could get people false banned, but that’s not the case. The most the mimic dart can realistically do is cause chaos, especially on crews with open mics
