Regarding large camps: some heroes like Seven are particularly effective at clearing jungle camps using AoE abilities, allowing you to take them much earlier than you might expect. Monster Rounds, a 500 soul item, also helps significantly if you're doing a lot of camps, but remember that your lanes will provide significantly more souls IF the enemy is pushing.

I agree! Very much dependent on your character and if you decide to itemize early into some jungle items. Camps also don’t regenerate so if you have time you can slowly whittle them down early game when you pass by each time, if your lane is pushed and you have no other camps to take at the time.

Oh thank you so much, believe it or not i didnt know a shop always appears on your lane at the early game. So i always was coming back to spawn to buy... that explains why my lane takes so much longer than everyone else, and why normally I'm the only one at base

Yeah deadlock is grabbing a lot of the fps community that hasn’t played league or dota. So, glad this vid is shedding some light on the moba side! Game also doesn’t hold your hand at all haha

great beginner guide, i can feel my increase in efficiency. Where do I take the urn once I capture it?

The urn always must be taken to the opposite side! You can see where the drop off is at the bottom right in your mini map

once you pick it up look for the green square on the map. it will be in the same spot on the other side of the map. make sure you tell your team you’re trying to capture it because the other team will be waiting for you since you’re highlighted on the map with the urn.

I wish they'd drop all this Soul farming junk. This a great video, so definitely no offense intended. It's just that I've tried aggressively pushing enemy heroes for kills, while hoping minions would DO SOMETHING worthwhile, and it seems a lost cause. Apparently, that's why people are babysitting minion fights. 🤢. They should design the AI so that aggro pushing enemy heroes is rewarded, up until their retreat to objective guardians, by minions doing equally successful aggression. Worse, the constant shopping and useless droid bashing is actually rewarded. The droids could at least do something, like scatter across the playing field. The gun dynamics and characters are awesome, but this foundation soul mechanic is awful.
